I've been playing for a long time, long enough to have contact with players who play well and those who play badly, and with players who use illegal programs to benefit from their lack of skills or simply because they want to ruin the game of others, much less complex games that sea of thieves use anticheats, I play on PC and I think there should be a program to search to look for engine modifiers, in the arena is where there is more illegal activities, I am a good player, I play well and I have a lot of experience, I'm not crying on the forum, I just want a clean game where I know that I won't have a frustrated gameplay for those who use illegal programs, I just think it's time to take this step.
Introduction of an anticheat
I felt the game has been fair since that first ban hammer back in the early days. The only problem is the server, hit reg, lag, and stability. But it's all got better. One thing that drove me crazy was the new food. over heal and double eating pieces when I wasn't used to it felt like people lived forever.
People are making and selling these hacking tools.
Rare should take a leaf out of Blizzards book and take the sellers to court. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-39490317
The only people at risk here are the legitimate player and presumably the people running the hacking tools(It is unlikely we will see figures on how many have been banned for this.)
I would welcome taking the fight to the people selling the tools.
@D3ADST1CK, @BurnBacon as far as I know a previous reloading of the engine is what locks the game of those who are looking to use a cheat they don’t have, they can watch videos or something, if it was for reporting I would have already been banned because I’m 22 and I just know how to play, easy antcheat uses this tool, the slightest change in the engine or in modified folders it does not let the modified game run.

Not all Anti Cheat systems are 100% full proof.
No system in the history of systems is fool-proof, but then again, that's not really the point is it? The point is that it's simply good enough or can it be better? Some might say that it's not and that it could.

It's like what I always say... You can always improve. Do not make excuses.
@marks-pro
There is an anti-cheat already active, and has been for some time. It works, and keeps out some cheats, but it's not perfect. It's up to those using the report systems and other human monitoring systems to find what slips through. It could probably be better, but I don't know all that much about either side of that, however it is fairly rare to see cheaters on the Sea. More are 'seen' in Arena, more because of the proximity of crews than the actual players.
@boomtownboss There are still cheaters in the game that get away with it, even on longtime accounts. This is the most blatant [mod edit] I've come across personally. That ban wave helped, but some still get away with it which is unacceptable. They do have an anticheat but it is very bare bones, only automatically banning the most obvious of cheats, things that can be detected extremely easily. Most of the time they ban through reports instead, and frankly few people actually get banned that way unless the evidence is extremely undeniable. That guy in the clip still has his account/plays from what I've heard.

NEVER
Advertise, spam, troll or engage in witch hunts. There are areas in our official Forums and on our verified Discord server where you can advertise your own community groups – just ask if you don’t know where to find them. Other kinds of advertising are not appropriate. Any form of spamming should be avoided. Trolling, baiting and witch hunts are also unacceptable. If you have evidence that you think our Customer Support team should see to help them take action against a player, send it to them using the process outlined at the end of this article..If you believe a player has been toxic in the game or suspect foul play, you can report them to Xbox Live here. You can also submit a support ticket to Rare Player Support.
@triheadedmonkey I don't fully understand the redaction here. I didn't mention the offending player's name and it never appeared on screen in the clip. The other enemy that was in the clip was playing legit, never said he wasn't. I think it's important that those who think the anti-cheat is foolproof see solid evidence that such faith might be misplaced. I did report the player, who will remain unnamed, both to Rare and Xbox, but no action was taken. The fact that they still have their account despite blatantly cheating makes the discussion of an improved anti-cheat all the more relevant. The report system is faulty due to the high volume of false reports I'm sure both companies receive as well as the difficulty in proving for sure someone is actually cheating only through the perspective of the player on the receiving end.
@d3adst1ck no they don't. They simply get the gamertag and if they get enough information and proof they will IP ban them. Far as I'm concerned it's as if they don't mind it happening because I can't get a dude shut down that has youtube videos proving he is hacking. Whatever I guess it's just part of the game.
