allow us to get normal bland looking pets with a few bland looking cosmetics with gold and dubloons and then have us pay real money for the outfits. I never like spending money on games unless it is a Free to play game.

Needed to have Twitch Prime and link your account.They have random events or specials when they gift winners or contributors free items or rewards. You just have to keep eye on the forums, Youtube, Twitter, Billboard.
@burnbacon ok thanks man i still think games that cost money should never do microtransaction exclusive content, i get it doesn't change the game but there should be a way to earn everything just by playing
@itz-majman everyone gets a free week trial for twitch prime, so you could make a new twitch acc. or activate it on you original acc.
@simplelyricc I got my monkey for free. I kept finding them skeletons with little back packs on. Kill them and they give you free ancient coins. Though I havnt seen any in a little while now... don’t know if they still out there.
@itz-majman You could use a free-trial of Amazon Prime to use it to get Twitch-Prime drops. That is how I got mine.
@greencamillion1 read the fine print. Free coins do not get a donation. I was bummed too. as that's what my free coins were used for.
Pets are pay to win!
There should be ONE free pet for everyone, just like the free hide emote.
It's kind of a niche thing, but pets scream when you're being attacked by ai. So you're getting cannonballed from a fort or island? Pet screams if it's a skellie, is silent if it's another player. They should be adjusted to scream in both situations or everyone should get a free pet.
Dont wanna pay? all good. Adventure around and pray to RNGgods that ancient skellies spawn on u! Kill them and u gain acient coins :D
Considering we don't pay any monthly fees (for mmo it would be about 12-15 euro), and that we don't even have to buy DLCs (expansion packs cost like a new game), not to mention that there are no bloody gamble boxes (to extort money from kids and gambing addicts), I am fine with pets staying in the Emporium.
