I think that you should either let players buy pets for a large amount of coins or let them take the animals to become pets, I also think u should have an auto save so that when players stop playing they can continue where they left off
Pets and saving the game
Pets are specific to the Emporium as a method of making people actually buy them, as they are only cosmetic it does not provide a pay-to-win advantage. Saves don't fit with the session-based gameplay of Sea of Thieves.
@mythicalgirl11 so pets were always intended to be an microtransaction item. they should remain that way.
As far as saving goes, this is a session based game. Your currency and reputation is saved from session to session. Saving more than that is just a bad idea.

Why?
Start point is always the same, at the docks with a new crew and ship. The game saves non stop and there are no take backs. You cannot and never will be able to carry over from session to session the possessions of the crew: ship, voyage, any treasure on board, supplies, etc.
Pets are their money makers, dont expect one soon for free any time soon
Ancient skeletons or paying are the only way to get them.@mythicalgirl11 auto save is just a bad idea, it wouldnt work. it would be broken for pvp and in pve it would remove the importance of it.

I still need to pay for Prime? I don't know what you define as free... but paying a subscription fee is not something I would define as free. Buying a package deal is still paying for it.
