Kraken varients

    The Kraken Mother had many kraken babies, we've only seen 1. When a Kraken spawns, you know that you're going to get the same encounter every time. If they had different variants, similar to Meglodons and skeleton ships, it might make the encounter a little more different. For example:

    • Obsidian Tormentor
    • Barbed Thrasher
    • Monstrous Horror
    • Blight Behemoth
    • Banished Hatred

    One could swing/hit more, one could suck you up more etc. Similar to meglodons, some are more common than others and one is mystical. Maybe it doesn't even exist, who knows? haha

    Not a bad idea..... just don't include a ghost variant like the meg. LOL!

    There are several krakens throughout the Sea of Thieves. Some attack ships sometimes, however they tend to stick to the depths. It is not just one attacking, however.

    I'm not sure, but there may be some lore about our kraken in SoT.

    I remember someone mentioned in the novel Athena's Fortune, something about all the kraken being hunted down leaving only one left.

    Solid idea, but I'd say there should be shared and separate abilities for each variant.
