Riddle quests

I don't understand why that has been changed. You now have to look at the quest before the next clue starts revealing itself. And yes it takes a while.
What was the intention behind this?

Yes! This makes no sense to me. What is the point of making us wait longer for the next clue to appear? It's so bad that I thought my riddles weren't working and I kept asking my crew mates what the next clue was.

Load times already make us wait too long in this game. Why make us wait unnecessarily for something else???

This definitely needs to be changed back.

@little-squash is this like an xbox thing? it only takes like one second for me, the second i do one step, the voyage goes green and starts writing the next tip, that process takes maybe one second and boom i have the next step? does xbox have some sort of loading take place or something?

I do play on Xbox and loading the next clue is noticably longer than it used to be.

@little-squash must be an xbox thing, although i dont do voyages much, last time i did one was a few days ago, but it was fine like i said.

It is significantly longer.

Sive Or six seconds befor the riddle appears for me maybe abit longer iv had it were my crew as almost
finished the quest n my map hasn't loaded past the 2nd sentence

@cptkerman maybe its an internet thing then?? or i guess its just something i luckily havent ran into or seen

@chris-houlden You might be a bit more specific, I almost shrugged it off as someone just not getting that you have to follow the previous step before it showing the next but you meant that you now have to actively watch the riddle appear on your map to get the next step.

Edit: @Galactic-Geek it's not SSD related, in the olden days you could do a step and not look at the map, when you then grabbed the map the next step would already be revealed, now you have to actively watch it to reveal it.

It's taking almost for the quest to be complete before I get any other part of the quest popping up
