Glorious Sea Dog gear used to be earned by winning 100 games of the arena and now it has been changed to placing in the top 3 of the contest instead. I hate this change, what really is the point in winning the arena anymore then aside from the couple of legendary weapons? Anyone who plays the arena can earn the jacket now just by playing for a while, you don't actually have to be skilled or have a decent crew anymore. It is the same with the new blue cosmetic for the same gear which you also don't actually have to win but just play.

The Glorious Sea Dog clothing was always locked behind the "Captain of Silvered Waters" commendation which has always been unlocked by placing in the top 3 100 times... There has not been a change here, this is how it's been since Arena released.
The only thing ever locked behind placing first place a certain number of times is the Legendary weapons, so what exactly are you talking about?
@chronodusk it required 100 wins. A member of my crew was at 97 out 100 wins just before the update came out and couldn't purchase it still. Now that the update has changed he could purchase because he had well over the amount of games needed for placing in the top 3
You are completely incorrect. It was never 100 wins. Never.
A commendation rebalance would have been in the patch notes, so why don't you show me in the patch notes where this change has taken place?
legendary weapons should be also available for the first 3 places,sot isnt a battlefield or cod where you have just two teams ,and without an own organized team its pretty annoying grinding for the legendary weapons(i mean the mainpart to reach piratelegend is the adventure mode) ,with the duo sloops its way better but i win very rare games im everytime under first three .some quick rounds arena are nice but i dont feel to grind for it and the new commendations where i have to wear factions stuff is super annoying.
@chronodusk @Muirist yah i got confused by this in the opposite way haha. i knew it use to be get top 3 places 100 times then i THOUGHT they switched it to just play 100 times but thats some other similar commendation. its the same as its always been. idk about the blue one. i think you gota just wear the clothes and play so maybe not have to win in that one.
