Change for the Mega-Keg

  • I was wondering how everyone felt about a balance change to the Mega-Keg due to the update.

    The reason why I am suggesting this is that currently with how things are with the update, sneaky shenanigans are very easy to pull off due to the low visibility of said island. I feel as if the Mega-kegs are too easily detonated from gun fire. I've done it a few times myself just waiting for a crew to load the mega-kegs onboard and just set them all off and the ship sinks.

    Currently its one shot and they go boom. What are everyones thoughts about increasing its durability? 2 shots or 3 shots to detonate instead of 1??

    Again I'm suggesting this because I almost feel bad with how easy it was for me to actually set off the mega-kegs and then take all the loot.

    Don't get any ideas. I'm still a supporter of players having to watch their backs and handle their own stuff. You get got because you got lazy that was your own fault and no I don't consider anything done from enemy players as greifing. You can't be greifed from the enemy.

    But I feel as if it might be too easy for something so destructive.

  • @xultanis-dragon I think it should require either a cannon, 2 gunshots, a sword stab, or another gunpowder barrel. I like the idea, and really it is being more realistic than buffing it for people who don't watch there backs.

  • It already got super nerfed making it almost like a normal keg damage-wise on the ship.

    If they decide to take the mega-kegs with them it's on them if someone manages to get close enough to blow them up, we don't need to make this game easier. Rather the other way around.
