@teo17 @teo17 I'll point form this.
I agree with being able to change ships without leaving the server. I think this would be great. I think it would have to be a pick a new ship type then scuttle and then catch a mermaid to a new ship type scenario.
PVE servers. Flat out against it. It goes entirely against the core ideals of this game and all of the other arguments.
Make multiple ships on the same server starts to feel like essentially creating a private server or PVE and I'm against it. There are ways to achieve this though. Go pay a crew to have someone join there ship and then get your friends in when they leave. This fits beautifully with creating community. Or get everyone you want to play to join at the same time on separate ships... It's possible to get two ships on the same server. Just throw up Reapers Mark's to check each others locations.
I'm guessing you meant maximum number of crew per ship and once again, I say no. I have done extra people on one ship and 5 or 6 on a galleon is essential unsinkable while still firing all 4 cannons.
If PVE servers are implemented for some sad and ridiculous reason that goes against the entire idea of this game and everything that it was marketed as, I believe that there should be absolutely no rep gain and there should be no transfer between PVE/regular servers. Two separate pirates on each server type and no legend for PVE because, well, its not legendary to get to lvl 50 in a PVE version of this game.1
I think that covers my thoughts on your main suggestions, in a pirate code friendly manner.
