Hello all, I’ve killed the kraken on a solo sloop a couple of times and the dropped loot was only a crate of rare spices and another time it was rare silks. What loot are you guys getting after defeating the kraken? The way I killed it was by managing to sail just outside the ink and rain cannonballs and sniper shots. Is it possible I got such little loot because I was outside the ink when I defeated it? Or is it just random. Thank you for your responses!

@spyderhat My preferred method for taking down Karen is to immediately drop anchor and raise sails (after making sure no one is in the area. Head on a swivel!), this allows me to not get knocked out of the ink by a smack and makes the tenticles come to me. I stay in one place and take the easy cannon shots on the closest tenticle, dipping below deck to bucket when I need to refill cannonballs and repairing when she sucks. Remember to keep your Sloop stocked on supplies, I never leave an outpost with less than 100 cannonballs and 50 each of Planks and Bananas. Keep at it till she goes away and all the loot that hasn't sank yet should be close to your ship. It seems to be randomly dropped loot to me, I've gotten Bone Dust and Ashen Villainous Skulls as well as crates of Tea and Seafarer's Chest.
I have gotten tons of different stuff, stronghold skull, stronghold skull and ancient bone dust!
And yea, most of the times when i've been slooping i usually encounter kraken and i just stay...kill either all tentecles or just some until it disappear :) - Most of the stuff usually sink before you can get it...but yea that's how it is!
