Is the Shrouded Ghost an Transformer?

  • I thought about it a while, sometimes Megalodons are changing Color during battles! Can it be that this is everytime an Shrouded Ghost, but you have to defeat him/her in an limited Time Window? When he changes color he transforms in an other Meg! Can it be?

  • @king-deka Simple answer: No. They dont change color. You are either having sight issues, a major glitch, or multiple megs. The shrouded ghost is just a really rare spawning type of megalodon. That is all.

  • know what u mean think the brightness of there dorsoul fin is there hp gage the duller the colour gets the closer to death

ive had a meg with a white fin but didt get the shrouded ghost comadation so im assuming the hungering can have diffront fin colours

and dang yout title me cant get megaltron out of my head now XD

  • @monkeybee11 This is also wrong, their fin is not an HP indicator. You are seeing things wrong or it is due to lighting changes from day to night.

  • @txcrnr proof? no? thort so

  • @monkeybee11 Proof? My proof is that it doesn't happen. Go watch YouTube videos of megalodon fights. You are proposing the idea, the burden of proof is on you- If you can show me a developer confirming it or a video clip where the megalodon's fin clearly indicates its health depleting, than you can prove yourself correct. But as it stands, thousands of videos on youtube clearly show that the fin color stays consistent.

  • i have seen several megladons change color half way through the fight. most of the time when it changes it goes back to the standard blue/grey megladon.

Well, Mr King Deka, i told this story on a different topic too...A few days ago, Mr J4dio and me took a journey through the Fog...We had done this 3 times before without any result but suddenly we heard a growl, we could hardly see her so we shot wild untill we hit , after that we had her attention .An Epic fight with the beast , who was definitely the Ghost Meg, occured ...When we had hit the Meg several times , and she hit us too and pushed us every time , she got help of a Skeleton Ship. The Fight became really thrilling because we could hardly keep our ship afloat...Meggi pushed us out of the Fog or the Fog dissapeared because the sun broke through...We finally sank the skeletonship and when we turned our attention back to the Megalodonodon, she had a white fin...A Hungering One...So the Megalodonodon changes if it get's out of the mist...This story feels for some like i sucked it out of my thumb ,but you can always ask Mr J4dio ,he is a Boatswain and they are not allowed to lie...Not that i would tell a lie , but yes , i'm just a foreigner ...So i can't be trusted , for some?

  • @clumsy-george It could just be that you mistook it for a shrouded ghost. The fog obscures vision, and it is possible for a boatswain to be wrong ;) Also, there are confirmed sightings of the ghost megs (on video) where it is nowhere near the fog. If anyone here seriously sees the megalodons 'transforming', you need to submit a bug report.

  • @txcrnr Every time I have ever fought/killed a megalodon the dorsal fin most definitely changes color as it approaches death. This is not a sight issue, major glitch, or multiple megs. You have either never completed a battle with one or you just aren't paying close enough attention. I don't know that this has any correlation with HP, but it definitely seems that way because it only changes color a few cannonballs before death.

  • @jonaldinho I do pay attention while killing plenty of megalodons. Here, watch this video at the two times I posted; Notice that the fin color is exactly the same, but the light makes it seem sort of dimmer as it goes on. Though, I will admit that when it actually is dead in the water the fin stops glowing, but that is different than any indication of HP but rather an indication that it is actually dead.

I think the glow is what myself and others are talking about. I have always noticed that as the fights goes on the glow of the dorsal fin becomes stronger and stronger until it dies and the glow disappears.

  • @jonaldinho In this video you can see that it actually does the reverse of that, though, and it also is clearly due to the change of lighting during the battle. You may be seeing the same thing; the light changing due to the duration of the battle makes the glow appear stronger or weaker, but it doesn't actually change throughout the fight.

it sounds like the skele ship poped up so meg coud pop down to the bottom of the ocean and tag out with the hungering 1 wile u was destracted by the skele ship lol XD

I'm pretty sure the megs don't change colors and that @txcrnr is correct - its a trick caused by the lighting in the scene. The same kinds of things happen with the Skull Fort clouds as they'll appear to have red eyes, and some people think this means that its being engaged or the captain is out, but is actually just because of the sunset/rise. The same color issues occur on some rocky peaks that will appear white in some lighting conditions.

  • @d3adst1ck im not to sure ive killed like 10-ish or so megs and it seems to be a common thing ....hey rare can we have a bingo book...hitlist...statics to see how meny of what we have killed? know theres comadations but once u reached that it dosent count any higher and u only start athena comadations once u turn in a athena chest so befor that it dosent count

  • @txcrnr @D3ADST1CK You guys are probably right. I've watched a few videos and it does look like the fin gets the brightest during sunrise/sunset. Its probably just a coincidence and I have been killing Megalodons at the right in-game time for it to appear the way I've described.

  • @txcrnr I was fighting a meg with a neon blue fin and vivid tiger stripes. Part way through the fight the fin went blue/black and the body stripes disappeared completely. I was sure it was a different meg but it only took a few more hits to kill. This was not a lighting issue. This has happened multiple times.
