Bone crusher figure head edit.

  • Hello rare team, I would just like to make a suggestion. Would it be possible to edit the bone crusher figure head from cursed sails to have glowing red eyes? I think that would be very cool to see a glowing red skull figure head on the sea of thieves. Since the Unicorn, Megaladon and skeleton figure heads glow why not do it for the bone crusher figure head too? Just a little suggestion. I think the sea of thieves community would love to see this implemented into this amazing game. Thanks for all your hard work Rare. This has been the only game I’ve played since release. #bemorepirate

  • @nottobuscus sorry to say but it's probably not gonna happen here... the skull is actually found all across the map, and is in fact a skull of a kraken. So it probably wont happen.

How ever, I do believe the wailing barnicle will get their own ship cosmetics like bone crusher did. And most likely a mermaid statue figurehead, which glows.

  • Glowing cosmetics are the best.

It is, in fact, not the skull of a kraken. The bones lying all around effectively prove that if you look closely enough...

  • But i mean that doesn’t mean rare can’t make the bone crusher figure head have red glowing eyes. It could have cursed eyes or something. Use your imagination this is sea of thieves anything is possible. Just because they’re are “duplicate skulls” all over the sea of thieves doesn’t mean rare can’t change the figure head.

  • Like i said used your imagination. For example, the bone crusher figure head is on all skeleton ships therefore, the figure head has been exposed to the curse cannon balls which makes the figure heads eyes glow. Just saying because there are skulls like the one crusher figure head doesn’t mean rare can’t do it.

You are correct Sir those indeed are not the bones of the Kraken as Giant Sqiuds or septhlapods don't have bone skelletons nor skulls. What we have here is the skull of the long extinct Legendary Leviatan sorn enermy of the Kraken. Or are they extinct? Info of these terrifing beast can be found in Rare early concept art, lore books and behind the scenes videos.

  • @galactic-geek It is the skull of the kraken lol

  • @enf0rcer bruh it was rares interpretation of their kraken how they imagined it would be

Oh really what is your source on this?

  • @enf0rcer Rare's art designer posted the same skull on a art website labeled "Kraken skull"

  • @enf0rcer Or just search up the Crew of thieves website and there should be something under "kraken body cosmetics revealed" or something like that

  • @enf0rcer https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oEAaJ

  • @galactic-geek @ENF0RCER From the Art of Sea of Thieves book, there is concept for the Kraken. Look at the head. Also is a give-away for all of these skulls are mainly on Kraken's Fall

  • @cheatingpirate Concept drawings are exactly that - concepts, which means that it's not set in stone; things change from concept to actual. If you look at the drawing's tentacles, you'll notice that there are no toothy maws on the ends, which made it into the game - the drawing shows fins insteas. Why do you think that is? The answer is because it's concept art - and not every aspect of concept art makes it into the final product. In fact, some aspects can even be reappropriated elsewhere in the future, like not on a kraken. The drawing proves nothing.

  • @galactic-geek Despite how they are pretty much similar, and all the clues that show this is a kraken skull. And if my points aren't good, then what of @RoughLeech03117 points? With people who work in Rare, and on this game, labeling the skull as a kraken skull? Wait, those are Rare HAVE to be wrong about sea of thieves, right?

  • I stand corrected. Althou i have say that is quite some artistic license on Rare's part i remember reading in a lore book about leviatens and the enermy of the kraken i must of estrapilated the rest. My mistake

  • @nottobuscus a bit of a problem I have with your argument is that Megan had glowing eyes, “unicorn” and skeleton figurehead are specifically legend which make them glowing for some cool pl looks

  • @enf0rcer And there is one thing that I figured out as well... there are different types of Krakens in the art book. Some more like leviathans more than the tentacle-y one we know today. So we both made mistakes now looking back at it.

Since when did a giant squid have a beak... That is the skull of Some giant bird.
