A duplicitous miscreant killed me at a fort after we'd agreed to work together. Naturally, this called for bloody revenge. So I hoisted the Jolly Roger, loaded my guns and sailed all the way across the map to get back to the fort. Instead of the sloop, I found a galleon. But just as I arrived, the scoundrel who backstabbed me showed up again. Perfect timing! He sailed directly into the fire of the cannons, and I unleashed a hail of cannon fire on him. He sank quickly. I had a few holes and quite a bit of water by then, but nothing I couldn't patch up. As soon as I finished, I turned my attention to the galleon...
...and everything went black. The game crashed without warning. P**f.
Now, this wouldn't have been quite so aggravating if it were possible to quickly log back in and pick up where I left off. Even if my ship had sunk by then, at least I'd have had the opportunity to finish what I'd started. But no. Argh!
Oh, well. At least I got to watch my backstabbing c****n sink. That gave me some pleasure. I would've loved to see how the rest turned out.
