We need blacklist to keep the game healthy

    I'm fine with ppl that had to leave during the middle of the quest and left me 1man the galleon...but there are some I can't tolerate and makes me wanna quit the game (In all honesty, it's darn hard to find a functioning crew without friends).

    1.There was a guy who instead of helping the galleon in the storm (also have treasure on it), get a gunpowder on island and blow up the ship.
    2.There is a guy today, dropped treasures including a villan skull on the water. It was too late to recover when we found out
    3.And of course, screaming kids with their loud music on (You can mute them, but they are a waste of crew slot, they don't help and they sabotage your ship and treasure.

    These ppl are what makes this game toxic. I honestly can't think about staying long in this game with 2 out of 5 random crew got ppl like the above

    First Rule of Open Galleon Crew:

    Don't use Open Galleon Crew.

    (Try using LFG or discord instead)

    Ahoy there and sorry to hear you've had these experiences.

    You might find it useful to look through this category on the forums, a great many fleets, clans, guilds exist as well as the Official discord which do make it easier to find like minded players to sail with.

    The Looking for Group feature on Xbox app is also really useful.

    I think as we move into summer, the population of the game continues to grow with newer players we're going to be encountering a range of people whose play styles or goals in the game might not align with our own.

    I'll wish ye luck findin' a good crew to sail with!

    I have to agree with @mighty-ace123 on this. The Open Crew Feature is pretty useless.
    You can convince me on the fact that players have met up with a decent crew with the crew type set to open, but I do believe this is the worst type of meeting other likeminded pirates.

    Like @KattTruewalker said: use the Search a Group feature on the xbox-app. I believe this is the fastest way to join a crew that has the same intensions as you do.

    open crew I have come across many a good crew and a few troll crews .

    once you find a good crew on open then vote to close it ?

    Blocking these players should prevent you from being matched with them again?

    There's some instructions here about blocking and muting players via the Xbox app on win 10. I'd be interested to know if the muting works in Sea of Thieves, I've never tried it.
    It does talk about using the recent player list but that's always a bit funky for me...

    the matchmaking is horrible and could be improved big time, using LFG & discord is basically the only thing to get good people & it shouldn't be like that. I've met some really impressive Pvp Guys on open crews.

    The only downside of the discord option is usually they want you to use discord to chat as well and that's a pain for people on xbox if they even get looked at the begin with.
