  • @mistoes

  • @v**a-hombre you live in a dream buddy

  • @mistoes it took two months for a single team at Rare to make hungering deeps. That strangely leaves me optimistic. I definitely think the game should have been released March 2019. However, if content keeps slipping more frequently, I think we will all be pleasantly surprised.

  • "game is dog*** cuz I got sunk waaaah"*

Opinion discared. Won't like or subscribe to your channel. :)

  • @spent-d a single guy can make that shark in a week what optimisc you speaking about ?why do you think ppl go Nuts over it? becouse its UNNreal that we got a giant shark after 2month and a half of work

  • @mistoes
pls show portfolio I'm looking for capable 3d artists

  • @mistoes but it was a very small team. More people are working on other stuff. Most of that guys complaints seem to come from getting rekt.

I was not even trying to fight the meg. My crew and I went to a skull fort. We came across a sloop there. We told them we would give them half the fort loot if they helped us summon the shark. Thirty minutes later we were fighting the shark. Not a bad experience.

  • @mistoes

    You bet!

    My dreams are frickin baller!!

  • Right about some things and completely wrong in others (the pvp aspect). The only issue with pvp in this game, is the same issue it carries everywhere else, which is the shallowness.

  • @spent-d i did the meg 2 hours after the patch.
and thats now how it works you put random team on stuff ..
you want to make something you put your teams on it to finish it in time not going around and saying oops thats what we could do in 2months.
thats not how it becomes great game they might just dont care that much if thats how it works if you promise something at start and saying yourselves you cant wait to see how it goes and what to come and then saying sorry we have only 1 team on that hell even for 1 team its nothing not even a small update thats 1 creature

  • @mistoes I feel ya. Like I said, if they had everything from actual launch until March 2019 and released it then, it probably would have been a way better launch. Did MS force Rare’s hand? I don’t know. Their plans with content release seems solid going forward. I’ve been playing over a year now... I just like sinking ships :)

But it's a whole lot more than one creature isn't it? One creature, one drum, one speaking horn, a slew of tattoos, one new ship skin, and one legendary figurehead. I think that's more than enough for the first update, and I wont even include the figurehead because I can't get that. Too much study before finals. Do you actually know how much work goes into every little thing you see? Even I don't, but I do know it's a lot more work than you think it is.

  • @ardent-38 also, I think after the event, meg will be a random event like the Kraken. You won’t need to summon her. When we get five+ sea monsters, we will be in business. Bring on the sea serpents... and a DK rip off land giant ape monster. Since Nintendo owns the DK rights. Way to let that go Rare (jk).

Please share with us the game that you have made, all by yourself, since you seem to know all about game design, programming, development and publishing. You’re just one person right.

With your feedback right there you must be amazing st all of this and have knowledge of all these skills and more. So we all want to see and play this perfect game you must have made already that gives you such great insight.

  • I couldn't care less about your hype

  • @braxkedren its not my proffesion and there is a lot of ppl who it is wich stating on it its a 1 model wich take a day to even creat a module and a week by mack to add An NPC 1 NPC

  • @ardent-38 no you didnt get anything new besides the giant shark, Tattoos you had already in game at creating of character they just made you able to choose them now, The ship skin was already in the game at 2017 if even not before ppl played in alphas and betas had more skins then us. Drum is poorly done animation with a tune playing in the background.
horn ? its a skin wich increases your voice radius was found a month or more before the update. so what they actually did ? the megaledon ... and no but you dont know how much it takes to those stuff if you look or go into youtube and just watch companise record themselves creating those stuff you will understand thats 2 months and a half its a joke for that

  • Then there's the server side code to make sure it's in the same place at the same time for ALL players on the server all in sync.
    Then there's optimization.
    Testing.
    Debugging.

    Rinse and repeat...

Sometimes its easier to judge from our side of the fence.. but its a complex, complex task. I'd rather we have a working quest line than a rushed out mess.

  • Why isn't there a down vote button for these threads?

  • @musicmee

Wait, you mean they don't just sculpt it out of play-dough and shove it into a slot on the servers?

Most assets were already done in beta. 2 months to make a speaking horn and drum? 2 months to enlarge a shark model and add another set of eyes? Doesnt make me too optimistic...

  • @mattydove74 I’m sure you make video games. Rare just has no idea what they are doing then? (I’m asking seriously, how many people should do that in two months)? Small team. Other teams are working on other content.

  • Love all the “go make a video game yourself” comments - that defense is so bad it is laughable. Tons of games out there with loads of content and regular events - but SoT isn’t one of them despite the hype. Rare just has a monopoly on Pirate games and sees no urgency. Please find a new way to defend Sea of Fetch.

Nah, I'd rather just play it. =)

  • @mattydove74 they have roughly 200 employees. Let’s say ten worked on HD, 20 on cursed sails, another ten here and there working on stuff. I think in a year SoT will be super solid. Like I said, the game shoulda been released March 2019.

So if it’s so easy to do then why don’t more people make games?

Also if Rare had a monopoly on Pirate games then there’d be no other Pirate games out there at all...oh wait there are. So no monopoly there

Sea of Fetch, funny. All games put you in a “fetch” mode. Please try again.

If this is how they teach you to speak in school, find another school, please. This literally made no sense.

  • @haydnsym45 it comes from people like you saying you can do it by yourself in a week. Meanwhile, you’ve never made anything for others consumption.

  • Nope, still having incredible fun playing with my friends. Sorry if thats a bad thing!

  • @braxkedren then seems like you need to finish school first to understand simple words.
Model*, Max*. hope you doing well now

  • @personalc0ffee then watch the videos of rare speaking about road map and hungering deep and not only the 1 video they posed 1 week before the update and rely on the hype they created themselves and 1 week before said: "oops you must understand we had only 2 months of work on it and other teams had more time " no sry not buying it its not how companies who respec themselves work ,imagine if blizzard put 5 teams on expansions and not all working on 1 it would make so much mess . 1 team works on 1 year exp ahead the 5th team working on 5years ahead exp or even 10 ?? makes sanse if you dont care about your game what will make into the game or not

I think that's a fault of you reading way too hard into everything. Seems like you're trying to read between lines that weren't there.

  • @mistoes just lol.

Seeing your post history and this response, you are just posting this to incite an argument on here.

No need to reply, I’m putting this thread on ignore so I don’t have to worry or see this dribble anymore. Not worth the time

  • @personalc0ffee you are missing my point and there is no meaning to if the company is big or not i told about How they work and seperate work.
yet blizzard was a small team when they came up with warcraft and wow :) then they became much bigger interesting why, read again about the seperation of teams you cant say execute you had not time when you choose to put other teams on 1 year ahead its not how any business that respec themselves work if you want to put something out there and you have a work that needs to be done you put whole your teams on that work and execute it then move to the next project aka DLC expnasion or whatever you wanna call it
