Go play PUBG on pc, the come back to this and tell me about hackers on pc. go play black ops 2 on xbox, then come back to sea of thieves, then tell me about hackers (or really just mod menus)
pro tip: Hackers are not limited to just pc.So to surmise the premise of your last statement...

like so, how hard is it to do a simple copy paste@jmftgtav but if you take that lovely index finger you got there, ya see, the thingy that can pull a trigger of a .30-06 M1 Garand? press that sucker against a few orders then a thingy will show up then you see, you can expand it and copy a whole URL, then if you hold it down in a field you can place text, you can paste it.
Boom, I owned a OG fire tablet@sir-lotus man...i remember trying to copy and paste stuff was a chore on tablet...it used to be super finicky and stuff man...now its like butter, easy, and awesome on bread.
@jmftgtav They also need to fix the black screen bud when returning to your ship after you've returned from the ferry of the damned. In a black screen for 5 minutes+.
Look, i'm not going to do the back and forth thing because it solves nothing. I only offer there are many other forces and things to think about.
I'm not going to say it's not right or wrong to the point of fairness and I'm not going to say this isn't a frustrating issue. I agree that kb&m could be better for one person over another. But then again who am I to say that a controller might not be better for someone else over the kb&m. If anything the loss of not marketing a kb&m or to sell you something else for the Xbox kind of surprises me. But there are 3rd parties that have and offer ways to get a kb&m to make the controls the same. And that's really the issue here isn't it?
The game play is the same except for the controls. They didn't code in that PC players actually get a built in aim bot. It's that the controls that make different.But there's a bigger picture here that should be considered. There is an opportunity for them to make this an Amazing Game! With a large player base to keep selling things too. And where a boycott would seem to be the way to stick it to um, let's not overlook that if you already bought the game they already got ya. So a community that can work together to solve an issue will be more successful than starting a discussion with a title and tone to pit one side vs the other. They got my money too.
I'm just going to suggest to not let let a valid issue get taken to an unnecessary place based on totally acceptable frustration and that's about as far as I'll go on the current thread subject.
@jmftgtav now with that bit of tech tips, wanna start a new, and try to explain why you think cross platform should be optional, and why you feel that way.

The game was sold to Xbox users who should have the assumption of fair gameplay.
Rare failed to provide that and therefore should make cross play optional.The game was also sold to Windows users as a balanced cross platform experience that wouldn’t split the playerbase.
