Can You Release Chickens?

  • Got the wrong kind of chicken. Can I release it, or do I have to go back and get a new cage?

  • @v**a-hombre Ahoy there!

Unfortunately, the only way you can release them is with the blunderbuss... not the most humane way... but does the job.

  • @musicmee

    Wow.

I... I think I may have to go back to the outpost and start over. :(

  • If by release, you mean their souls from their bodies, then yes.

If by release you mean, them from life, then yes.

    Cages? No.

  • @v**a-hombre Yup... probably best if you are not up for harming any chickens... or find a coop washed up on a beach on your travels.

  • @qm-ginger-beard Bingo!

  • @v**a-hombre You could drown it, apparently drowning is a peaceful way to go from what I hear, but I havent planned testing it myself IRL

  • If you dont feed the pig it just goes away not sure about the chicken. I wish you could release the pig on the ship lol i think we need to get p**a involved in this case

  • @too-much-space yes you can drown the chicken , take him underwater, he will act alive wait till your banana bar is at half actually a quick dunk will do it too, then bring him up , go to dry land, he will still act alive until you put the crate down and then it will be empty, wahla he died. It p****s you off though when you go all the way back deliver what you think is a live chicken and set it down and then the cage is empty. Just a quick dunk and drop will do it if you got the wrong one though

  • @v**a-hombre Your shotgun will release them, straight to the Lord, washed clean.

  • yes if you pick up the wrong chicken you can empty the cage. take it to the water and dunk him underwater. He will act alive the entire time until you get to shore and set the cage down. Then the cage will be empty and he will be gone. However, the entire time you carry him around even after him being under water he will act alive. You have to set the cage down for him to be gone. This is a bit irritating when you try to deliver what you think is a live chicken only to set it down to the merchant only to find out its empty once you set it down. You scratch your head saying he was alive and well and in the cage two seconds ago but you forgot that at some point you must have gotten his head under water. But, if you need to get rid of him, its quick and easy.

  • Curse ye scurvy ridden landlubbers! I come in here loaded with both a "sweet release of death" joke and a KFC joke, and all of y'all gotta beat me to it...
