No, what i propose is like you buying a work van, & the dealer gives you the option of borrowing another vehicle when you choose.

Roughly half the xbox players would like crossplay made optional.
Nearly all PC players would like it left as forced / always on crossplay.

Edit: Even though I'm not the OP nor do I care about your question (not sure why I'm replying). I'd say the reason is very simple. Rare doesn't want optional cross-play. It's their game; they designed it how they want. As a customer you bought the game knowing full well what it entails. Simple. Yeah devs will listen to the player base and make changes to the game but sooner or later they'll put their foot down and make their own changes (or lack thereof).

That's not where the argument lies m8, as it's not as simple as yes or no, but nice try!

Either you split up the votes of the two platforms or you put them together (which I did). You cannot determine a statistical percentage on importance of xbox over pc. You can't measure that because it's opinion based and not analytical based. Results speak for themselves. Stop trying to prove a point.

I wanted to know what percentage of xbox players wanted cross play as an option & i also wanted to know what percentage of pc players didn't want it as an option.
So i asked the question in a way that would give me both my results.

Yup. It shows that failure to add an option to turn off crossplay will alienate roughly more than 2/5 of the population (at least population on the forum)

No problem with pc players using controllers m8!
If servers could be made controller only, i would 100% be behind that!
KB+M is my main gripe as it gives a distinct advantage!
