The rating is because there are guns and depicted violence, not because you run the risk of being called racial slurs or might hear someone propose paedophelia in chat. If it was the latter, every game would be M. Rating systems mean nothing.
Also, the bigger issue and complaint here is that a ticket was opened with rare about this so they could deal with these people, and instead they sent some canned pvp response and did nothing to clean up their community, even with video proof. That's on rare. And it's entirely in line with the spineless, limp approach they've taken to everything else so far ("getting griefed? Scuttle your ship and switch servers!") There's no defending their lack of action and not banning these worthless excuses for humans. Period. You people defending rare or making this about a kid playing a game that's very tame except for the subhumans that infest it are disgusting.
