Weapon skins persistently resetting

Happened to me during the last scale test, I think it's just an optimization thing. Should be fixed by now.

its still doing it in full release so its not fixed

I can buy skins for any of my clothing items and once I equip them, they're there until I change them.

When I equip a weapon skin for the cutlass or the blunderbuss, the skin will randomly reset. Doesn't appear to be any consistent cause as this happens when logging out and back in or even just putting them away temporarily. Could be related to weapon configurations being bugged overall because it doesn't matter what I log out equipped with, I'll log back in with entirely different weapons.

For the record, this doesn't occur with equipment items such as the bucket, compass, or shovels.

Its not a bug its a ***** ouch!!! :)
