Suddenly cant use 2nd weapon...

    I was playing fine and then all the sudden I couldnt use a 2nd weapon, just locked with the sword or pistol. :/

    Anyone else?

    Small glitch, it will be fixed by launch, for now just back out and relaunch, and carry on.

    @xrekkoffx I am still getting this bug after launch. Can only equip the 1st weapon slot

    Yep same problem for me , multiple times. Can't draw the blunderbuss if a fight has already started. Also lost all my clothes until restart, and have lost all tools ((except bananas wood and cannon balls)) on at least 4 occasions, just vanished !!

    @greenswede Yeah, its back for me as well, cant use more then one weapon.. :/ Rare, please fix this! Kind of game breaking!

    Same exact issue, it was working great...except for when my items disappeared for no reason yesterday...but a quick re-launch fixed it.

    Today tho I have lost the use of my second weapon. restarted the game, and later the system and it didn't fix it still...in fact I ended up losing both weapons and all tools (couldn't use anything but resources).

    anyone knows if Microsoft store has a repair option for games, like steam?

    I too am encountering this issue. Everything was fine until I purchased a blunderbuss upgrade. Have not been able to access #2 weapon slot for 8 hours. I have restarted dozens of times, no change.

    I found the fix! YOU NEED A SECOND COSMETIC WEAPON! You have to double equip a Gun/Cosmetic version till it’s your primary weapon than choose another. You have to do this everything I believe. Ahoy!

    I think this glitch is engaged when you store items too fast with the y button @RARE

    Had the bug on Xbox One.
    Load into a server. No 2nd weapon. Only the sword.
    Deleted my pirate that had the bug and created a new pirate.
    Now I have access to both weapons again.

    @ghostwolfviking did you loose progress and gold after deleting your pirate

    @beanie-hunt Don't delete your pirate, it will most likely delete the progress.

    I had this exact issue last night and now when I woke up it works fine, so I would recommend to just wait, it's also maintenance in 30 minutes so they may fix it.

    It is a known bug. Please don’t delete your pirate to fix it!
    I found placing another weapon in slot 1, then clicking slot 2, close the armoury box, reopen and your chosen weapon should show in slot 2.

    If you equip a new weapon in slot one, then the second will become greyed out with your sword or so... Then die, and respawn back on your ship, and you can now change your weapons again, adding sword back in slot 1, and other weapons in slot 2.

    Yes. I lost all progress.
    Then spent hours messing around with the pirate wheel creator.
    I wish they had some extra options to fine tune your character after picking one.
    I picked a white blonde male pirate. Scar over his right eye. Blind in his left eye.

    Noticed a patteren of similar looking pirates with the same body type, clothes, hair, etc.
    It's not as random as the developers say it is. It takes hours to find exactly what you want.

    Not many options for females either. They all look like ugly lesbians. Not very busty.
    Takes forever to find a decent looking female with all of her teeth. 😄
