My sea of thieves controller isn't glowing ?

  • Hey there, i just received now my sea of thieves controller and i realised that it is not glowing at all...

I watched youtube videos etc. about the controller and it is glowing for everyone in the middle of the controller, just not for me.

Any ideas ? or is my controller broken ?

  • You need to put the skull on the light, then go in the dark and you will see it glow :D

  • Glow in the dark material needs to be exposed to light first.

Leave it in the sun or in direct light, or try holding a torch over the skull and try it again.

  • @bbf-adrye

I thought you are joking but i tried it anyways, and it rly worked hahaha this is INSANE.

Sorry i have no clue how and why it starts glowing after putting some light on the controller but its very interesting :).

It glows now perfectly, its dope.

  • @leloinost It’s just a glow in the dark sticker. Would have been super cool for it to have been light up, but put some light on it and enjoy! This is the best looking controller I have ever saw.

  • @leloinost Phosphorescent paint work with light (lamp or sun). It's this way since, i don't know, ever?

  • Last question:

I have a old xbox360 wireless adapter, can i use that old x360 wireless adapter on my win10 PC to connect my sea of thieves controller with it ?

    Pointless comment. Move along.

  • @leloinost For wireless you'll have to buy the official msft adapter which I bought for like $8 on eBay years ago. It will not work with previous gen wireless adapters. *global economy pricing higher now, so expect to pay a few bucks more.

Of course you can plug the new controller into your pc via the most abundant cable in history.. Micro usb

  • Yo check it out in blacklight

  • Those colors should POP !

  • Works like these guys used to, does it not ? Expose it to the light for a certain time and it will glow for a certain time ?

I think you mean, raise your lantern over it

    Pointless pointlessness, move along yeself!

  • @cftc-kratos I'm sorry. Please enlighten us and describe in detail, using your own words, the main mechanism that allows certain materials to exhibit phosphorescence, and as to how such a phenomenon occurs in general. You're probably just another physics undergraduate, regularly flaunting your newly found intellect in order to bolster your fragile ego. Talk to me when you've pursued higher education for 10+ years.

  • @leloinost if your pc has blue tooth you should be able to connect to pc that way if the pc has no blue tooth then you will need to use a xbone adapter to connect wirelessly.

  • @thevividdreamer I assume your reply was meant for the guy I replied too? Lol

  • @cftc-kratos I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.

  • @thevividdreamer :)

    Isn't it ironic?

  • @cftc-kratos You bring down people but do not offer any constructive information as to why ?

Enlighten us! We believe it is this:

    Or this :

So is it rather LED glow from the controller ?
Is it not supposed to glow ?

  • @ironuzuka I bring down someone who acting like a d****e to someone who legitamly hadn't heard of this paint. I thought it was rude so I pulled a similar dismissive attitude. You followed with doing the same thing which I found very ironic. All in all.....I have laughed alot today.

  • @cftc-kratos And yet have contributed nothing on the topic at hand. Good to hear you had a laugh!

    Thanks buddy :)

  • I am learning so much from ya guys :) :D.

  • really...in 2018? You havent ever heard of that stuff? hard to believe...to say the least.

  • @leloinost Im pretty sure the controller is suppose to glow when it is night time in game, or at least thats what I thought when I read the description for it

No you can't, but the good news is that your new controller has Bluetooth.
To connect it wireless use Bluetooth or a Bluetooth adapter if you don't have it on your pc. Don't spend money on the ms adapter because that was for previous generation controllers.
To connect it wired just use any micro USB cable.
