Island animation breaks my immersion

    I may be the only one who feels this way, but maybe others feel it too.
    When I sail close to an island, I really don't like that the screen closes down to a letterbox and I get a banner telling me what island I am approaching.
    It is nice to have the confirmation that i have arrived at the correct destination, but it seems like a little too much on the screen. I will be checking the wind, adjusting my course and sails for a good landing when my view closes down.
    Not a big deal, it just spoils the experience for me a bit.

    @johnny-boy-zee It's always bothered me as well. I'd be fine with just the audio cue and nothing else.

    @johnny-boy-zee I do like that it tells you too, but I also find its a bit intrusive. I wish it was more that the name appeared and overlay at the top in a noticeable way, so you still see the screen.Instead of the big black bars blocking out screen.

    It's never bothered me, but that's an interesting point. I'd have to play with and without to tell which I'd prefer.

    Very annoying,blocks the compass not viable.

    Yeah, i find it very intrusive, it could be a tad more inconspicuous.
