  • I like to use the traditional Naval phrase, having worked with a few matelot’s:

    “Fair weather and following seas”

  • @iviikeonxbox I prefer the rum over grog.

    May your ANCHOR be tight,
    Your CORK be loose,
    Your RUM be spiced,
    And your COMPASS be true.

  • @ivorydoll Yo ho...ho ho ho ho! Hardy har har. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho!

  • nicht lang schnacken kopf in nacken/ no chitchat ,head in the neck:D

  • @iviikeonxbox In my family (we're weird and really crass) we say "Up your_______ hole!" the blank is filled in with whatever it is that's being celebrated. For example "Up your birthday hole!" and everyone else present responds in unison with "Up yours, ______!" where the blank is the name of the person who initiated the toast. I've been making large batches of grog on Fridays. The missus usually starts us off with a hearty "Up your Friday hole!", to which I respond "Up yours, NantZ!"

  • @hamfistedgaloot Love it...except, we can change it to _________hawsehole - as a hawsehole is a real nautical term.

  • Before we set sail:

Drink enough that yer not skeered!

    After we loot a boat:

To the foolish that let us on their planks!

After we loot a boat and the crew chases us for close to three hours and never sank us but they were sunk ALOT:

To the fools that let us on their planks...and we got to watch it all!

Oh and after that we all were friends on the shore and we drank our grog and went our way.
