you put this game separately but within the game, the sales of the game will explode because you have not seen any battle royale with ships and pirates
This is the first post to genuinely annoy me, purely because instead of just saying that they should add a battle royal mode, you had to describe what a battle royale was.
It woudn't suit the game, and while it could possibly drawn in extra sales and maybe even filter the raff from the quality players who will no doubt stick to the core game, it will also cost resources to support. And anyone worth appeasing will want all effort to go into the core game.
Plus it just make absolutely no sense having a battle royal where a deathmatch would be effectively the same thing but fairer.

its a "good" idea, but as many have said, that is not what this game is trying to be.
how you see a multiplayer game and how Rares perception of multiplayer is not the same.
I hope the success of this game will inspire other developers to create the game u want.
I played a lot of Planetside 2, with core gameplay was in the community for me, its was 1000 players servers(i think it was 1000 on each team)
But it was the different outfits/clans there was holding that game together.
I could see them use the same game engine, and make the full scale team/outfit ship war game where u were divide in 3 factions(pirates, english, spanish) and just fight fight fight.
