Sea of Thieves BETA not Starting?
I uninstalled and reinstalled only the closed beta from store, I never got a code to redeem on the microsoft store from my purchase. Black dog pack was automatically added. Not sure what is going on but I'm confident it will be resolved sometime today. I guess I'll split some wood while we all wait.
@mexicated They, unfortunately, didn't have the server load yesterday or the Microsoft Store launch issue. Some of these things are unfortunately out of Rares hands.
But rest assured they are working to get all issues resolved soon.
@l-onan-l You sound like you are all set to set sail when the issues have been resolved, nothing left to do on your part!
@mexicated if it was to do with pre order or accounts it shouldn't take to long but then again if it's between rare and Microsoft it may be taking longer, it is I admit abit of time to wait but again it isn't unusual tbh.
@celtic-roar Id be happy to join ya, don't know much about specific positions but id be happy to have other to play with XD

If you've received an email stating that you'll be granted access to the Sea of Thieves Closed Beta, be aware that this is an upcoming phase and the Closed Beta is not live just yet. No date has been announced, but we'll be sharing more information on it soon!@enjoy-disaster the closed beta should show up for you in the game section of the Xbox store available for you to download separately from the game pre-order

@n-a-ii-m-a has anyone tried uninstalling their pre-order game file? Not the closed beta one which is about 7.55GB?? I wonder if it thinks its the pre order game and thats why it thinks its too early? would be interested if someone tired this, I would but I'm at work
Three hours late almost.. just for them to seemingly fix an issue relating to access. Surely all they have to do is flag up the issue with Microsoft and get them to rectify?.. This shouldn’t be a technically challenging issue for them to fix, but nearly three hours later here we are. Streamers seem to be playing without issue, and my friend has just told me that Microsoft’s, Xbox on team are now playing and streaming the beta from 14:30 but the rest us consumers are being left waiting like chumps!

Ok letz get serious, how do you refund a preorder? I am new to Xbox X and i dont know how.
I want to refund because i cant understand why the stream service Mixer is full of streamers(its #1 atm) playing the closed beta and i cant , despite the fact i should be able to because preordered , insider ectIt's been 3 hours since I started pushing the button. The button held a promise that the game would start, and i believed it. I had to believe it. After an hour, button was all that I knew. After 2 hours, the button became my captor and tormentor. A cruel mistress, the button continued to offer the promise that it would take me to a better place. Now, at 3 hours, I'm broken. I fear that I will never leave this Xbox home screen, and if I do, I will be a shadow of the person I once was.
The button taunts me still...it calls, and I must answer.
