The game should allow diving with the Ocean Trident.

    The game should allow players to dive and switch servers while carrying the Ocean Trident.

    They now allow harpoons to be carried across servers when diving, but the Ocean Trident isn't permitted to do the same.

    A trident only costs 250 gold, the same as a storage box.
    These items aren't considered high-value treasure.
    You might even find a random treasure chest on an island that's worth more than a trident.

    Harpoons are allowed for diving and server transfers because they're used in combat.
    Tridents can also be used in combat, so why can't we carry them during server transfers?

    If I have a trident on my ship, I can use its charged attack
    to knock back players trying to board via my ladders, instead of being forced to carry a blunderbuss.

    Harpoons in cannons have a one time use. And if you throw them while in open sea (say Hourglass) and miss...your not gonna get that back :p
    Tridents, you hold and keep using until its used up. And so much easier to gather....

    Maybe this why? Tridents are more powerful..

    They should also allow diving with cannons of rage.

    @potatosord Agreed, I forgot about this. They have created many things to add gameplay to PVP.
    And these things, like treasure chests, are not allowed to be carried for server replacement.
    I can understand the reason why players are not allowed to carry treasure chests for diving.
    But these things have no value at all, each one is so cheap.

    Is the harpoon disposable? Are you referring to placing cannons and firing them?
    Yes, this is for one-time use.
    But what if I use it for throwing?
    I don't use harpoons to attack other people's ships, but to defend against others boarding my ship?
    If I don't hit the enemy after throwing it out, I can still pick it up.
    They removed the 100% kill effect of the musket, changed it to 90%, and repelled the enemy.
    So we can switch to using harpoons for defense. Just harpoons are not as convenient as firearms.

    The harpoon is used every time my ship sets sail. I can buy 5 of them.

    Due to the slow flight speed of the trident's energy bullets.
    On two moving ships, it is almost impossible to launch a trident from your own ship and hit someone on another ship.
    This means that this thing can only be used for medium or close range attacks, with extremely low long-range hit rates.
    And you didn't consider the charging time. When the enemy boards your ship and you are charging, the enemy can already fire 2 shots.
