Way too many as every time we found a ship they had it on and tried to blow us up. Secondly, we got repeatedly attacked by the same person even after our ship sunk and they kept blowing us up and it was an instant sink. Too overpowered.

If 2 (or more) of you keep getting clapped by 1 person, that's a skill issue, not a game issue.

I agree. Far too easy to find and they’re basically an insta-sink if someone gets one on board your ship. Can’t even snipe them in the water most of the time because it takes multiple hits to blow the barrel up. Feels overpowered for how common they are.

Worse than the spawn rate is that if you have a bunch of smugglers bottles in your quest inventory, which spawn even more often than the kegs, you have a limitless supply of barrels at every smugglers hideout effectively.

You can use the Harpoon/Harpoon gun to steal the keg from them.

Of course they aren’t insurmountable but that doesn’t change the fact that they are too common and powerful.
