Are generous gifts still dropping?

    Are Generous Gifts dropping?

    I'm doing the collect 50 humble and 50 generous gifts commendations. Before the Current season I had 28 humble gifts and 20 generous gifts. Now I have 49 humble gifts and still 20 generous gifts. With a couple humble gifts getting lost before I could turn them in. That is somewhere around 22 humble gifts found in a row without a generous gift dropping. It seems really unlikely that i'm just having rng this bad.

    Can anyone confirm if generous gifts are still dropping in game? If the way to get them has changed or if they are aware of Rare changing the drop rates?

    When I completed this commendation a few months ago, generous gifts could sometimes be found in emergent skull forts (not the ones you dive to and not a FoF) and in the vault of the Burning Blade. I'm not sure if anything has changed since then.

    @jdutton22 I agree that's how you are supposed to be able to get them. I've been doing those, and i've been getting Humble Gifts. No generous gifts have been dropping. At least not for me, not in the last week. possibly not this season. Hard to know when this started, at first I thought it was bad rng, but it's been too many now. I'm wondering if they are dropping at all.

    I now got humble gifts from 28-50. Completing that commendation without a single generous gift dropping.

    I got a generous gift from the Burning Blade a few days ago.

    It's a tough grind. Good Luck! Especially getting other folk to sell them for you.

    @lastplacelarey I checked a couple Burning Blades and just now found a generous gift on the second one. Hopefully you'll see some going forward!

    Getting other crews to turn in 30 generous gifts, took me months to complete. They used to be treasure items dug up from maps the island captains would give, and I'd spend hours visiting islands looking for them. Hopefully however and wherever you're getting them now is quicker.

    I've given up on trying to get generous gifts sold given their rarity. Was only wanting the Frozen Horizon cosmetics rather than commendation completion.

    Would be nice if the gifts were included in Ashen Guardian digs rather than the sparse events currently - Skeleton Forts and Burning Blade.

    This season I've only seen generous gifts at either molten sands skull fort, or the burning blade, I have not seen it at an emergent skelly fort after doing 20+, I suspect something with the cannon of rage being in those vault rooms is probably preventing it from spawning, idk its impossible to know with the lack of information available.
