1 of the reasons people run from ships is because they already suspect 2 or more people to be on it making it an unfair fight from the start.
Yeah, nothing is more unfair to me when a ship thinks they can use a Galleon against me, while I sneak on there ship with a Mega Keg. So unfair.
Sea of Thieves is a game built on community, making friends, and having voyages with said friends and making memories.
SoT is a game built on building a Pirate Crew, meeting other crews/pirates and having an Adventure like Pirates do. Good and Bad.
Everything builds memories.
This forums community is so short sighted you guys don't really see anything other than what affects you and some of the responses I've gotten from this post just show how toxic this community really is.
Or, the people wanting something because they can't deal with pvpve content and want a multiplayer online game to be just a Single Player game so they can enjoy the very limited. What more Toxic, getting upset over people disagreeing or saying a community is toxic because they disagree.
You don't like ideas that affect your experience.
Road goes both ways....Your experience is affected just as much as mine.
You don't care about the experience of other players or the onboarding of new players.
Tell that to the last 10 random crews i joined on open crew and had a blast of a time showing the ropes and making some fun adventures. These kids only 10 days into the game.
You care only about your experience and yourselves, textbook selfishness.
So its not selfish to demand change to a game, I bought knowing what it was for? I bought the game for its pvpve, and all the stuff that comes with it. You wanting to take a shortcut in achieving things that most of everyone would have to actually play to unlock.
Your wanting your own little bubble to play, gain everything for free without other players. Breaking down the actual core of the game, Player Interactions.
Solo sloop servers is a perfect middle man between safer seas and the actual high seas
Why only Sloops? Why not Brigs and Galleons? Seem kind of one sided.
can still have the potential risk of the high seas, without the majority of people who just want to PvP
Where the Risk in a Solo server? None.
Understand the idea before you shoot it down.
Idea that been talked and broken down in detail in the past, 7+ years. You got a part of it, Safer Seas. Take what you can get.
So why are you fighting so hard talking mad *#%$ about an idea that would onboard and train safer seas players for the high seas?
Where the training? That you cant get in Safer Seas?
no one is forcing you onto a solo sloop server
Nobody is forcing you into High Seas. OR to even play alone...
why are you alone?
Because you want easy sinks.
Because we like adventure fights. Humor, fun, tricky fights. That one reason Rare added the Mischief season stuff. So players would get silly and have more fun with each other. Sinking ships is Part of the game. As advertised.
Because you don't care about the health of the game.
How is adding a solo server, good or health of a game that isnt in any shape or form in bad shape? Besides bugs and glitches, Game is fine. Its all just the players mindset. I see no benefits for solo servers. You learn nothing, you most likely never leave, and IF they ever do decide to add such a thing. It will be heavy locked. Most of everything wont be earnable, besides the bare minimum. (much like early Safer Seas)
Because you don't care about the community
It been proven many times, the community is split on what they want and dont want. Nobody is ever happy.
you only care about yourselves and your experience.
Road goes both ways. You dont care about other players, just yourself and how "bad" the game is you cant play alone in a PvPvE game.
If you truely want a Pirate solo experience, SoT doesnt seem to suit your fancy unless it bends to your demands. Regardless of how other players feel and disagree.
Solo Servers, I believe Rare had only bent the knee once, and that is Safer Seas. It pretty much what you want, use it.
