The new disguises have arguably been the best part of seasons 14 and 15. I had a couple more I'd like to throw out there, one of which could specifically be tied to a new feature we've seen for season 16. I'd like to suggest a canon barrel disguise that would be tied to commendations directly related to the new portable canon. The new barrel disguise is great and all, but we've been able to disguise as a barrel for quite some time now, so it would be nice to have more options. Along with this, I'd also like to see a charred barrel disguise so that you wouldn't be the only clean barrel left on the FotD when tucking. I think this would also be a great thing to add to the disguises and could also be tied to some sort of commendation related to how many times you complete a FotD under certain circumstances or something of that nature. These are just ideas, but I'd love to see some feedback or even hear if these are viable adds to the game. I think both would be great to add to the disguises.
New disguise ideas for Season 16
@europa4033 same could potentially be said about the barrel itself. But think of how many spots their are on a skeleton fort where you could fit in easily. Also, who is checking all those on a fort consistently anyway?

Not a lot of players commit to knowing where all the useless barrels are on ships. However if you stand out to look like a cannon all barrel, you attract attention to yourself. To answer your question about "who is checking all those on a fort consistently anyways?" my crew and I always do. Supplies are vital to us, to include PvP food. Forts are fantastic places to find pineapples, chainshot, you name it. Every active fort we do, we always fill our pockets, and if we die, return to ship to offload and repeat. There are a million places on a fort to tuck, and if I see a cannonball barrel, I'm absolutely going to loot it.
@burnbacon I'm always using the disguises. The hanging from the ship... not so much. But the disguises I use all the time
@europa4033 I guess I should clarify further. Me and my crew strip down islands all the time for resources. So I guess a better way to phrase this would be, who is checking all the canon barrels while on an active skeleton fort or FoF? Most of the time their attention is at finishing first, then grabbing supplies. But I get your side of this too.

We always loot/fill pockets AS we do active forts. It helps save us a lot of time, so when we're finished, we can just harpoon the treasure and go. This way if you die (and no one can get you in time), you return to ship, empty pockets, and go again filling them as you fight. Just about every barrel (especially the red cannonball barrels) gets searched before we even start fighting. This way, it gives the barrels time to reset and we could get even more awesome supplies. No need to clarify :)
