I don't know how rare is going to do this, but will we be able to link up are ps5 accounts to sea of thieves so we can play on the same account across any platform. I do not wear nowhere to put this other than here so what do you think rare is going to do. Also rare, can we link our accounts now instead of later?

It was Mike who confirmed it and not the official SoT page. Usually Mike or one of the other main people will answer questions everyone has instead of SoT official. Still just as official though.@checkmate808 progression carries over regardless of the platform you’re playing on, as long as the accounts are linked.

@cybercage im sure if you link the acc you will get all achievements i got it on a different game too
So when we say linking. Are we opening SoT on PS5 then linking our Xbox account there or do I need to set my PS5 login to use the same email address I use for Xbox login?
At the moment my Xbox and PS account use different email addresses. Should I change this? Is my purchase linked to my email address or my PS account?
Too many questions that need clear answers. Happy to support SoT on PS5 but would like all my cosmetics to be accessible under one pirate

@a3gis-prime I'm wondering the same thing about when we can link. I haven't been able to link account so i'm wondering if we have to wait for SoT launch on PS5 to be able to do so.
@steelcity9425 Probably around the beta time, which is from April 12th to 15th as mentioned before.
According to Sony: "Once you have successfully pre-ordered Sea of Thieves, the game will automatically download to your PS5 console when it becomes available on the release date"
@phantaxus It should be just like on Steam. I have a Gmail account for my Steam, but my Outlook account for Xbox.
