Did they increase the frequency of sharks spawning? I swam 30 seconds through the water as a solo, and got attacked by 3 sharks. My friend and I were swimming for actually 10 seconds in the open ocean with no Megalodon or anything present and got attacked by 7 sharks. It was terrifying, and they are a major nuisance. As a mostly solo player relying primarily on stealth for success in PvP, sharks put me at a considerable disadvantage when they spawn so frequently. I waste time, ammo, and food fending so many sharks off for only a short swim. The shark spawn rate needs to be decreased significantly.
Lower Shark Spawn Rate
This has been a pretty common bug over the years, too many sharks, too little sharks. It does appear as though the nearly instant shark spawn is back. I feel like I’ve barely touched water and there’s one already swimming up.

The boosted rate we had a few months ago was fun.
SoT should do shark week.
Bonuses for megs, sharks and boosted loot quality and meat values. With a significantly increased spawn rate.
I like changes week to week, or even server to server.

But to the topic at hand; the shark spawns are a little high right now but don’t need turned all the way down, some of us still need commendations done for the double gun 😅

I have my opinion. Yup, I swim as well, but only in shrines and they don’t spawn fast enough to bother.
But seriously. The only people who suffer are the ones who swim in the water way longer, which are boarders. XD
