I appreciate this idea has likely been put forward countless times, but I believe that this idea may be a good way to implement it, and may receive a positive response from the community.
So flameheart is returning in June, and players would also like to see some story content; therefore, at some point in the future, after prehaps another event like fate of Golden Sands, players could decide on who wins the war between Flameheart and Athena's fortune. Then new tall tales could be added focusing on eliminating the remaining faction members.
I believe it could work like this, for, example, if Athena's Fortune were to win the war:
Tall Tale 1: Large naval battle with allied and enemy ghost ships like in the last pirates life tall tale. Final boss is the new burning blade ship. The battle ends with Flameheart retreating to the Sea of the Damned.
Tall Tale 2: Belle and others being to track down the Servant of the Flame, who went into hiding after the battle, and force him to say that Flameheart has a fortress in the Sea of the Damned, and has Pendragon hostage there.
Tall Tale 3: After travelling to the fortress, Athena's fortune attacks the exterior like attacking the sea fort at the end of the Legend of The Veil, then the pirate enters the fortress after there has been sufficient damage. The "Fortress" is basically a blockaded island which is has a town and a large Manor at it's center, where Flameheart is. The Player fights Flameheart and defeats him, which could conclude the flameheart story line.
After defeating Flameheart, The Pirate Lord will appear and tell the player it would be a shame to let this place go into ruin, and gives control of the Fortress to you, and that can be how you obtain the Hideout.
Functions:
The Hideout will need renovations and repairs after the battle, so players could pay gold and doubloons to repair the structures.
They can also renovate the Manor to have certain Styles and designs so the player can spend their gold on something that feels like home.
The player could also renovate shops in the town, and have access to the shops that would been seen on the outposts in the main game.
There could be a secret vault in the Manor where the amount of treasure in it depends on the amount of gold they have.
A dock allows players to manage owned ships. and change ship type without having to exit the game.
The Player could vote for a voyage to allow them to travel to the hideout at any time in the main game by going through one of the portals.
I appreciate this is just an idea, and would likely be difficult to implement, but i felt that it was just an idea on adding something to the game that could be positively received by most players.
This is just an idea, but i personally feel it has potential.
