It would be so amazing if the crew size of the ships were increased. There has been so many instances where friends wanted to play but the crew was full and there is no easy way to join a friend's server. So, it would be amazing if we could fit more people in our ships.
For Example:
Sloop: 2 to 4 people
Brigantine: 3 to 8 people
Galleon: 4 to 12 people
@cuddlyfoe I agree I think it would be fun and interesting adding more player slots to the ships. A more realistic number would be 3 people to a sloop, 4 to a brig and 5 to a galleon. Any more than that I feel would throw the ship balancing off, 4 people on a sloop would be insane. Love the idea though, would definitely make it more big team battle piratey!

So up to 1/4 of the server pop on 1 ship?

...You do realize the server pop cap is 16 people, right?
That would leave four people to crew other ships.
Not to mention how broken it would be to have 12 people on 1 ship; A helmsman, a sailsmen, two bailing, two repairing, and still 6 more people to fire cannons, get more cannonballs, board, etc.
Crew sizes are good as they are. This idea is straight-up broken and should never (and will never) be a thing.
12 people on 1 ship? It would be the only 12 person ship on it's server due to population caps. May as well ask for an 'I win' button.
Ship sizes are fine as they are. The game is balanced for the crew sizes we have. People need to stop asking for all balance to be thrown overboard.
@cuddlyfoe I feel like subtracting 1 pirate from each ship would be better. That way everyone is at a disadvantage. 3 people can’t properly manage a galleon, 2 people can’t properly utilize a brig, and 1 person can probably solo a sloop and decimate the new 2 pirate brig and 3 pirate galleon but hey it’s balance right xD
