Well. I know that Rare are very likely to ignore this, but where can I find humble and generous gifts in season 11? There are now several times more variations of skeleton forts, there is almost no forts of fortune, and most captains on the islands drop ashen treasures or storage boxes. How to close achievements like Generous gifts for all? Add at least a special quest for gifts or make new trips for the reapers, otherwise it is almost impossible to complete. Thanks for attention.
Humble and Generous gifts
You will only find them in natural spawn forts of either kind. Unfortunately they overlooked this change and made it even harder to get gifts than it already was. Honestly disappointed. I finally finished my gifts in 2023, but as someone who was never here for the event or gift voyages, it was painfully hard to finish them and I always ask for them to make it less of a slog for people… if they don’t fix it then it’s going to become one of the hardest things to actually complete.
Removing them from small island captains was a bad choice IMO
@abjectarity I have not seen a single gift since the update and have done plenty of fort world events that were not raids. I have also yet to see a gift in game in any way like I usually would just because someone didn't want to go to reapers after selling and just logged out with it at an outpost
Edit. I did get one from a skelly fort. So I don't know what is going on. I thought they were guaranteed and also in FoFs but maybe its just regular skelly forts

Didn't realise they did that. Emergent forts only then huh?
Guess this is yet another commendation I may never complete..... I'd appreciate it if they were a chance of dropping from other activities too.Maybe (and this is just me hoping) they are going to make gifts be special events only.
I think that would be way more beneficial since then you would have a way better chance of not only progressing the commendations for turning them in...but also the commendations for having other crews turn them in for you.
Considering they locked the season 1 cosmetics behind the humble and generous giving commendations. I hope they address this sooner rather than later. I'd say adding them as a voyage similar to what the ashen chests and keys were like. But where would they add them since we can't/don't buy voyages anymore.
Perhaps an emissary voyage for reapers that has you hunting down and digging up humble & generous gifts with the possibility of getting a reapers mark or bounty? Would be a decent addition to getting grade five as a reaper outside of just getting payed more for your stolen loot.
@manatale I think they just forgot about it. I would suggest creating few posts about gifts at once to draw their attention to this problem
They definitely need to re-balance the drop rates for Humble & Generous Gifts, Rag & Bone Crates and voyages for Fruit, Cannonball & Wood Crate deliveries for the Merchant Alliance.
I have no problems with a bit of griding; hells, I honestly prefer it because it gives the little "gotta catch em all" gremlin that lives in the back of my head something to survive on. 😁
We do need just a bit more balance on them, though. If there are comms to complete for them they need to be at least manageable within reason for the average player that sails a few times a week.
@thegrimpreacher Yep, at now its unreal. I've already played this game for over 2,400 hours and this is the only thing I wanted to do before leaving to open the frostbite set. But I guess I'll have to drop the game early.
