Storms and fog as of currently are the only weather types in the game, and the only shanties that have been recently added were only unlocked by 100%ing the new tall tales so most players dont have them. As more and more complex mechanics are introduced to the game, can we just have something simple added? I literally own a concertina if you want me to write you 3 new tunes for the next update dm me yes this is a threat

@oligy697 they have just added shanties there's only 2 locked as rewards and their not even that hard to unlock honestly ....I'm old school I like having to unlock new things not just having them gives them way more value and reasons to run tall tales or other content
@otherfanboy Sure, i like unlocking things too. But im not a fan of tall tales and honestly found the monkey island one pretty boring. If they were to add more shanties, i wouldnt mind them being hard to get but id rather it be from an encounter in the sea of thieves world, not by following some pre determined storyline. Like if they put seek the dead (i think thats the name of it?) Behind the fort of the damned commendations or some new one behind commendations for cashing in the skull of siren song.
@oligy697 ok so you not liking TT is a you problem but grab a guide hop on Safer Seas and just run through them get the complete so you don't have run them again it's not like the OGTT where you had to each one 5 times for the 100% and sure add new shanties behind unlocks I'm all for it but don't just give stuff out for free and honestly I love the TT tho I mostly play them solo because my crew just doesn't have the time to run them when we play
This sounds similar to a post I made asking for possible ways to add more shanties, I’m glad some people agree we need more music for this game. Out of every game I played I’ve noticed Music is a key factor for video games and for a game like sea of thieves I feel music plays a big factor in this entirely from the pirates of the Caribbean tale tales to the limited timed shrouded ghost mission that was shown a few years ago. Once u have either played or seen gameplay of both of these then u will understand what I mean.
@burnbacon Honestly i'm a massive pvper, theres nothing i love more than fighting in a storm or losing the enemy in fog only for them to reappear out of the mist and start firing on you. It all makes everything so much more cinematic. And if theres one thing ive learned recently, its that people love cinematic games - hence the sucess of the battlefield series and more recently lethal company.

Will that include accompanying music for the banjo, hurdygurdy, and the drum? That all needs to be written too...

@burnbacon the storm can be a rough pvp fight but the fog is a blast having figure out where the other crew is also I wish the fog was more common I feel like I rarely encounter it
I kinda beg to differ, when I am doing quests or tall tales the fog is really annoying, I wouldn’t be able to tell if I am near any islands or rocks and the only possible way to avoid hitting them is to constantly go up to the crows nest to make sure there are no rock structures ahead of me.
@raven-knight810 to each their own I like sailing and fighting in the fog or the storm for my crew and I it's a great time
