it seems the crossword is 18 x 18 and can be split into 4 9 x9 squares and the number of x's in each square goes: 0, 1, 2, 3

@impymidna2303 Perhaps it resembles a book page, but that does not necessarily make it true, for instance, I can make my own version that I completely made up:

I did not base this on any clues outside whatsoever, I just added words to the phrases. If there is a logical explanation behind the additional words for the post you mentioned above, then by all means, let's look into it.

@impymidna2303 The sea of thieves twitter account did not mean every clue for all four puzzles, just every clue for the fourth puzzle. The also emphasized the crossword as something to look at.

@penvy9380 Well the riddle by H sees all said to count every coin on the page, which happens to be 123

@drprofassassin Actually, H said to account for every coin, which means to regard specifically. My guess is that there is some pattern with the coins that we will see after we get more information by completing the crossword puzzle and getting the word(s) from it.

I wonder if AFORECLOUD is part of the key to solving the crossword phrases. I doubt it was happenstance that the pigpen runes from the crossword spelled out actual words when decoded using the four square cipher.

Since crossword puzzles can be ambiguous, that might be a good idea, having a clue to remove the ambiguity in the puzzle may have been necessary.

Hi, I'm new to the forums, Hoarders Hunt, and SoT in general, but I want to get my input in on the crossword puzzle. So please lmk if any of these have been ruled out

I think along with the other riddle/crossword search where we got the words like loser, trapped, meddler etc.

the lines in the crossword puzzle need to be turned into a rhyming riddle where the lines are rearranged xs get replaced?

For example:
Ixposters of the deep

Would become:
Imposters of the deep
The M may either be a letter we combine with the others to make a word, or rearrange the letters around it to find another word.

Or

I (word) posters of the deep
Potentially one of the words from the riddle/crossword key

Plus the lines that aren't quite fitting like:
Loss ur ricketty ship
Missing yo and an extra t

Might be another hint that these extra letters can be put together to make a new word.

I'm sorry if this is confusing, let me know if any questions and I can expand on things.

My main problem with figuring this out right now is that I don't understand how people got the answers to the other riddle with the pig pen cipher on the x as the guide by rarethief describes. Is there anyone who could explain it more in-depth to me?

@dr-effalottahos Someone got them by taking the center of six x's on the crossword and then going on from there. However, there are four x's, so that lead may not be entirely correct.

Future reference rare. But like I get what you were trying to do butttttttttttt you did what we call in the streets "too much" and I say that as a average dude not some Russian ciphergrapher. I'm not the smartest dude in the world but I am in the top 10 percent. I feel like your cheating right now. What am I doing.......smh....you ain't gone read this....but ima submit just cuz I wrote it.

They probably want to allow plenty of time for the people who just want to do the 4 in game missions. They probably need to allow extra time because people are not going to be as willing to share the answer in the final phase.

Did we every find out an answer using the word search and the riddles? I know we got aforecloud but we didn’t use it and it isn’t a word like the other answers. Maybe we solved the puzzle correctly but put the letters in the four square cipher wrong. I could try and brute force it but there are tons of combinations so it will take a while.
