Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying there. Maybe I should have slept, and not tryed to solve the puzzle. Do you have any ideas for an adjective that H would use to describe the gold hoarder?
Mystery [Mega Thread]
@lucky11
You mean the fourth four square cipher key? Leave it as the default: abcdefghiklmnopqrstuvwxyz@solarenderm
The riddle asked for the hoarder and the place he stashed his loot. Horace is stationed at dagger tooth and he went to fletchers rest. The island in between these two places is liars backbone.I see the correlation of snake island and the word snake on the constellation, I was stumped on eagle for a second, but I cant help but to think how Plunder valley has the bird shrine which is similar to that of an eagle. Note how snake island also points to Plunder Valley. Its a stretch and I am unsure of what to do from there.. but my thoughts are leading me to that area as there is just too much of a coincidence.
The arrows = "Monarch, Horace Liars Backbone, Snake, Aforecloud"
The Pigpen = "GMQHRDKK"
Maybe we need to use the other picture Rare linked on the Sea of Thieves Twitter page?: https://twitter.com/SeaOfThieves/status/1664301980846571520?cxt=HHwWgIC29a315JguAAAA
Not sure if this is relevant but I noticed a few things I haven’t seen elsewhere:
1.The word hexapod and six pops up in the wordsearch and then monarch is one of the clues. these could reference a butterlyon plunder valley there is eagle peak, a painted butterfly, a scarab (another hexapod) and an eagle hunter as well as a bird shrine. could these be helpful?
@lucky11
I think we were supposed to use that to solve the constellation puzzle because the constellations matched the painting in that picture. I tried using the vinegere cipher with gmqhrdkk as the key but didn’t get anything. If we use the four square cipher on gmqhrdkk we get eprhqdhn which doesn’t work with the vinegere cipher either.@rimshot-iii
I think the x at the end of monarch is a place holder because you can only get answers with an even amount of letters using the vinegere cipher.@aingerd
How hard is it to apply a color fade to this picture? https://twitter.com/SeaOfThieves/status/1664301980846571520/photo/1I think that you're right that "Aforecloud" is an anagram, and there's some sort of secret message hidden in the "Snake" and "Monarch" symbols in the picture. Maybe we need to pair this hypothetical code with "Horaceliarsbackbone?"
@expertknot447
an ideas on the rest of it? also in the word search there are many words that don't make sense and some more placeholder x's. Could be just to make the wordsearch work but if we take the letters that could give us something?@lucky11
I tried a bunch of colour changes and colour "fades" to no avail. the snake and what I think is ther monarch symbol and the eagle symbol do not seem to change or reveal anything@lucky11
sorry for all the posts guys but just mentioning the only thing I found is that the hexcode of the grey tha the snake and other symbols become when fully greyscaled is 696969 not sure if a coincidence but NICE@lucky11
There is color fade at the bear who also have the arrow pointing towards it, and I can't remember seeing a bear in game either. The other animals seem to fit in. There is however also some fading on the chest at the crab & kraken and the people. Also I see no reason why the two coins/bullions should be blank. Could be more to this picture@rimshot-iii
All right, sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase!I've tried plugging in the four answers and 'Find Me' into the 'Youareapiratepuppet' website and got nothing.
i found this thought it might help https://twitter.com/nottscolin/status/1664376655551385603 also can someone catch me up on what we have for clues so far?
We got the four "Arrow" answers on the original tweet by Rare: https://twitter.com/SeaOfThieves/status/1664301984675930114?cxt=HHwWhICxucr15JguAAAA
They are: "Monarch, Horaceliarsbackbone, Snake, and Aforecloud."
The Pigpen is: "GMQHRDKK"
At this point, we're trying to figure out what to do with these five answers. We've been poring over different ciphers, plugging these words into the "Apiratepuppet" website, and looking at potential connections between these codes and other things across the internet.
