None of it sank last night. did the whole fleet then picked up all the loot. including the megalodon that spawned.
Just kill it and collect all the loot.

loot stays up a long time now before it's touched and they added time to pick up loot between ships in season 9
if it's not touched and the server doesn't merge a very long time.
I've picked up boss loot from the first fleet after I did the second fleet a few events later in season 9 now that they spawn more often.

it's already incredibly laggy with just boss loot
adding on the other ships would be incredible lag in the water
there isn't any real benefit to the change it's just purely preference with how loot works currently in fleets
