Did you know that there is a Sea of Thieves interactive map? It's true! Look up "Sea of Thieves interactive map" on Google. It says what things are on which islands and where each company is at outposts, it even has a thing that, if I'm interpreting it correctly, the things like sugar, silk, spices, and stuff like that will sell for more at which outposts and which outposts it will sell for less at.
Fun and Useful Fact
@devtryak it’s been known for a number of years. The storm tracker is probably the most known feature of the site, super useful!
@tesiccl
I figured as much, but I figured that it would be helpful to the new players to share so they can get a good start to the game. Plus, it can also lead to a thing where you can buy the different maps from the different seasons as a physical thing that you can hang up in your room, and I want to sea what people will do with them and I want to see the 500 IQ strats that can be done with them, cuz you can use them to help keep track of ship's when you can't use your ship's map and stuff like that.

@devtryak There are actually two of them.
And the rarethief one is available as an interactive app for mobile devices as well. I have it installed on my tablet as that’s an easier second screen for me in my setup.
You do realize that you can delete that app and you can find the exact same one on Google.
I know and you can find the EXACT same thing on Google and it won't take up your tablet's storage space, which you can then use for other piratey things.

Ah, that’s not necessary for me, but thanks. The browser on my tablet doesn’t work very well, especially on my apple tablet it likes to refresh the page when I “tab out” for a while and then come back, which loses my place on the page or resets my filters. While the app stays pretty static and refreshes when I want it to.
That is a good tool to us to steal some Athenas and to tuck on a ship you highly suspect is about to get some big loot.

Now if the map could just find "Island 74"
I am at 73 of 74 on the Mater Explorer deed and I although I was very methodical going from grid section to grid section, I seem to have missed one and can't figure out which :(
Check your Islands Visited milestone.

@foambreaker Is it Molten Sands Fortress? xD
Thanks, been to that one, what is "Tribute Peak" in the upper right corner, wonder if that is considered an island.

@foambreaker Isn't that from the Shores of gold tall tale?
I don't know, I have only done a few tall tales.

I'd suggest to anyone to run through all the tall tales at least once - Tribute Peak is the destination island for the 9th and final tale of the original "Shores of Gold" tales. You can only sail there by completing the previous 8 tall tales, and it is a pretty damn cool island, the largest in the game!
@goofythescot I do them together with my girl, it's a lot more interesting than trying to conquer the seas by doing voyages. We loved the pirates life, I completed all of them to 100% and we just finished the 2nd tall tale few days ago, looking forward to the next ones this weekend. I wish Rare would make more of them, doing adventures together is very interesting as well. The last one with the stars was really cool and engaging.
So for sure, if you are a new player you might enjoy the regular game for a bit, but once with some sea miles under your belt, certainly give them a try, it's a blast (just dont expect to get rich by doing them :P)

It's not about the gold!
