Hello everyone, I think a golden sea dog set (much like the year 1 legendary set or the golden sailor set) would be much better and more appreciated by the community for those who achieved all of Arena commendations, as the colored ship sets are cool, but don't represent the dedication in Arena.
I understand it's additional work, but I think that would appeal to a lot of people, and better fits the whole set.
What do you think? Would you prefer it or you like the rewards as they are?
@d3adst1ck I think OP means 28/28 SD commendations, which is not a prerequisite for TSD.
A complete Victorious set would have been nice.
I'm just happy they let us keep our stuff.

The only ones that you'd need to have that don't count towards TSD are the music playing one, the one for digging up 100 things with the shovel (and not all in Arena), raising a tankard in the hot tub and I think the 300,000 silver one. I think the other ones all unlock some piece of Glorious/Triumphant that you need for TSD (I could be wrong - going on memory). Odds are if you have TSD you likely already have those as well, and if you don't have TSD - those commendations don't really seem to be worthy of a full golden set do they?
I think the Victorious set would be nice, maybe it'll show up as part of something else.

Me and most of my friends. As much as it's 15 minutes of waiting, we've had years to get everything.

A lot of players including myself have all the commendations.
@compox please no, I have to many regrets in my life, I don't want to add not 100 percent completion of arena to the list.

@targasbr I have had some good memories from arena, it was a fun get away after sitting in a server fishing for hours... but nevertheless life goes on and where one adventure ends a new one begins... Demarco would want us to move on, but we should consider ourselves lucky and honored to have embarked upon such a magnificent, sweaty, offensive journey the likes of which no game has ever seen... I tip my hat to the arena and those who gave it to us.

One for digging 100 chests in Arena as well; iron sea dog (200 cannon kills); 50 chest steals; the 300,000 silver one you mentioned; and about 100 sword and blundy kills, if you waited until you unlocked the Glorious skins to use them.
But I get your point.
Nevertheless, TSD is not the title rewarded for 100% commendation completion.

It's been out for 3 years, I think people might've 100% Arena between then and now

The point? Rare chose to acknowledge SD 50 and 100% completion players equally. As they did SD 49.5 and SD 5 players equally.
I'd agree but I didn't even get the sets they said I would and I was level 50. Pure jokes at this point, always 2 steps forward and then 5 steps backwards with them. Then they wonder why we bully them when they release podcasts making out 'all technical well this system that system, we have this new tech blahblah' then release buggy messes like the last 5-6 updates. 🤣
@josephtodd If you were 50 before they made the announcement, you'll have the rewards within a few days. Takes up to 72 hours to kick in sometimes. Not sure why.

I think we were able to get 3 matches of 15 minutes in an hour or so; this was also before the announcement. At least for sloop Arena somewhere down the line the waiting times were less of an issue.

Yes, most of you got it right and an actual (complete) Victorious set would be cool as well, given we already have the blunderbuss that's actually a pretty good idea vs a golden sea dog set (which could be the same, actually)
There's also the Courage Set which fits well but that's already been given out in some parts so I don't think that's applicable.
And indeed, players who reached lv50 already had the Good Boy ship set, but that doesn't mirror the actual dedication for all the commendations.
I've got friends who has 50 but don't have even half of the commendations, maybe because some levels where purchased with dubloons, maybe because they mostly stayed on the ship and didn't do much killing with the weapons, and so on.
Just like Year 1 Legends had to the Animal runs, without knowing that in the future there would have been faster, easier and funnier options.
While I would be sad for them, an extra reward would really mean a lot for the people that indeed, were able trough effort and patience (freaking matchmaking.) to get the 100% of Arena (❤️).

While we understand the passion the dedicated Arena community has, the rewards plan for the closure of The Arena and the gifts we gave players have already been laid out and distributed. There are no plans to alter this or add to it.
The Arena cosmetics have been retired alongside The Arena and will not be coming back - your GSD, TSD or LSD cosmetics ARE your reward for being engaged in the game mode. Alongside that many of you also received The Good Boy shipset which will now be one of the rarest on the seas. These cosmetics are your pirate's story and the reward for engaging with The Arena as they will never be seen again.
