Maybe you guys should finally add the obsidian hook. Could be given through twitch drops or some promotion. Heck, it could just be given to players who own the rest of the clothing. All that matters is that the set would be finally complete!
P.S. Could also add a obsidian cannon flare as well. Would be something new to collect.

@galactic-geek True! An example of some missing shirts they should add would be the Glorious and Triumphant Sea Dog shirts.

@illbushido305 Well, when Rare started adding the Saphire Blade set, people were dissapointed, and mentioned the fact that there were still some missing Sliver Blade items. Rare added some of them (Sliver Blade speaking trumpet, banjo and drum) when the community pointed it out. The Obsidian hook, however was missing years back, and people have asked Rare about why it was missing from the black dog pack. It still hasn't been added to this day.
@lovelocc Nah. I don't expect them to finish every set (a example would be courage set, don't care too much if it is completed). I only start to care when there is litterally 1 or 2 pieces needed to finish the set, but they forgot or don't want to add it. Especially since the Obsidian and Sliver Blade set only require 1 item to be complete.
@el-spaniardchi The silver blade speaking trumpet, drum, and banjo were the missing items added because after announcing that they were starting their new set, we were still missing those three equipment items. I pointed this out immediately after their announcement and it was corrected rather quickly which I give them a round of applause for doing. I say there is no better chance because the silver blade set is an Aristocrat recolor. There are no aristocrat sets that include a peg leg and so the Silver Blade and Sapphire Blade sets don’t include them. At some point if they decide to do it they could share each other’s hook and peg leg model and get the emblem they each have on them.
@illbushido305 Fair point! Those peglegs are another thing that need to be added, and are another thing that ticks me off about nearly complete sets.
It could also be done by recoloring the Black Dog (a.k.a. Obsidian) pegleg, as i'm pretty sure that some of the Obsidian set pieces look like recoloured Aristocrat set pieces. The Obsidian hook could likewise be easily added by recolouring the Aristocrat hook black with lime green gems.
@el-spaniardchi during editing my post I think I deleted the part where I touched on the Black Dog set. This one and the Mercenary set don’t have hooks but could easily share one with the aristocrat sets as their peg kegs could help the Aristocrat sets. Believe me, I could go on about missing cosmetics all day as I’ve been waiting for nearly a year to see when they’re going to give the Silent Barnacle set a matching figurehead. The two bone crusher sets that were finished recently were a major relief as I was able to finish off those two after for ever.
@illbushido305 Ah, no problem! I've also been wanting a silent barnacle figurehead for a while now. The respective Bonecrusher sets being complete was nice, and i believe it was pointed out in one of these forum posts and then noticed by Rare. I'm probably being too hopeful, but it'd be great if the same happened to this post as well! Some of the cosmetics that have been talked about have been missing for a while and deserve a place in this game.
@el-spaniardchi Yes the certainty do and they did acknowledge it one time when the set was first released. It’ll mark 1 year in January since we got the set so hop by then we either have it or get close to it. 😅
Would also be neat if the original green Blige Rat set got a flag but at least that’s not too noticeable.

@lovelocc •Scars have been added like crazy via events and are pretty much guaranteed to be in future battlepasses, so not likely (although more wouldn't hurt, love collecting those things lol).
•Tattoos are a possibility, but events already add them, and again, battlepass always has 1. Most in-game sets also don't nessisarily need a tattoo paired up with them.
•Emotes are added all the time, pretty much every time a Pirate Emporium update happens. They are in abundance and are not generally linked to in-game sets.
•Pet are like emotes, in the sense that they are added with most Pirate Emporium updates. Not as common, but still regularily added.
•Pet Costumes are few, so more would be a good idea, especially costumes themed after the main factions. I'd sometimes rather have a normal pet with Gold Hoarder clothing versus having the current Gold Curse pets.
•Curses don't need to be added often. They should be limited and few, and only make sense to add if rare does some big update to the game.
•More beards and hair would be great, especially ones with ornamentation. Could also be added and attached to in-game sets like the Bone Crusher hairs and beard. Battlepasses also take care of the problem abit (still wouldn't mind more like a ashen dragon beard and hair)
All these things listed above are different from my original idea, because they would need unique models and wouldn't be a recolour of a existing hook.
@el-spaniardchi Oh I'm not asking for no justification from you as to why and how it's not there yet.
If you want a full set then you need to add those too and not only what you've limited yourself to
@lovelocc I don't want a full set per se, as i know they won't add a Obsidian curse, scar, emotes, e.t.c. Those type of cosmetics are usually made to be mixed and matched with other sets. My issue is mainly how easy it would be to add a Obsidian hook, and how most in-game sets have hooks.
@el-spaniardchi You said you wanted the rest of the clothing, now it's just confusing, do you want the rest of the clothing or just the hook and end of the story?
@lovelocc Sorry if i am confusing, i might have gone on too many tangents. I basically want the Obsidian/Black Dog hook to be added to the game.
