Why didn't anyone write anything about the fact that ancient skeletons were obviously removed from the game?
I asked more than 200 people who regullary playing the game - they also as me haven't seen the ancient skeletons for about 3-4 month. I have seen one more than 6 months ago. And i playing this game a lot.
I farmed Athena with my friend may be 1-2 weeks, so all the time we were on the islands... and nothing....
6 months ago, we consistently met ancient skeletons once a week or more often.
I can understand if skeletons were removed (but it's of course incredibly sad) but it's strange that noone said nothing.
Why did you remove the ancient skeletons?
@ensmagritte They’re supposed to be rare, just like the Shrouded Ghost.
They haven’t been removed, it’s just a random luck of the draw. I defeated one last month as it happens!
@thetwistedtaste They are less rare then the Shrouded ghost, been confirmed before.

You could have just asked if they were removed because you havent seen them in a a while but your conclusion have no base.
I dont think that the chances have been reduced, havent seen one in a while but i dont think that they have reduced them.I've seen less in the last 4-5 months than I used to see in 1-2 weeks before then
they are still around though they just appear to be a lot more rare
Wasn't that around the time they brought a 6th ship back into a server?
Might be that (if they didn't lower it) because meg spawns are also less consistent during that same time. More people to spread things out to.

You’re good. You noticed something and made an assumption based on your experience. What I am most impressed by is your willingness to take in new information. We see so many players come here with their minds made up who get defensive when we share information that conflicts with their assumptions. You were open to more info. Hopefully you run into more ancient skellies soon.
i agree with the OP's observations. However was it that the rate has been dropped or did they just previously bump it up for a month or two and have just returned it to the intended nominal.
In general I agree that its been a very long time since I've seen one and its seems like the rate has dropped. Seeing 1-2/month for 3-4 months, then nothing for 6 months certainly feels like a shift. None of us have data to say for certain one way or the other (beyond that they haven't been removed).

They definitely are spawning less for me. All the more excitement when I finally get one I guess...
I'd prefer getting my ancient coins from skeletons than from progressing through an season. That AC boost for the pass was because people want this to be a pass like other games. It's a deal for cosmetics coming to the emporium, not a way to make your money back.Xbox

You lucked out and had a good eye
sometimes they can be very sneaky when they spawn in areas like that or spawn below which makes the search even more urgent

Yeah it was. I've lost about as many as I've killed lol
isn't it heartbreaking? I've lost so many on smuggler's bay somehow
I swear they spawn in rocks sometimes.
