Tall tales you love em or you don’t I personally really like tall tales but it’s always annoying when some crew comes along and sinks you while your somewhere you can’t protect your boat one tall tale in particular is the sunken pearl you go underwater and your ship is unprotected the whole time 9 times out of 10 when I’m doing this tall tale my ship gets sunk because some dude thinks that their a god at pvp just because they sank you while you don’t even know your boat is in danger I think that there should be some field around the area that prevents you from being sunk and you can’t bring loot into that field for balancing reasons I don’t know it would just be nice to know that my boat is safe while I’m down in the depths let me know your thoughts

@neonmaster777 all the sunken kingdom shrines and the tall tale 2 "entrance" have some big rocks nearby...do it like I do...park your ship behind those rocks...never got sunk that way
I understand this TT in particular can be frustrating due to your ship getting sunk. Ways you can mitigate this is by having nothing of value on your ship or like @Schwammlgott said, hide it behind some large rocks.
Only issue I have with new tall tales in regards to separate crews is I think it's inconsistent to allow people to have their experience sabotaged in some spots by pvp. They are designed differently and brought in instancing and that journey should be consistent imo
as far as boat safety goes I think the responsibility is on the crew to minimize their risk. Don't park there with loot or flags or supplies just focus on the tall tale and whatever happens to the ship happens to the ship
I completed that TT about 3 or 4x, and only had my ship sunk once - and this was during the mad rush when the content was 1st released. I imagine it's far easier now.
Evert tie I scope out a ship in the area, I don't sink them - but I do raid them. No sense in just letting the goods sit there doing nothing.
@ninja-naranja see that’s the thing I never have anything on me while doing tall tales and yet people just want to sink me if when they learn I’m doing a tall tale and have nothing on me maybe I’m just cursed to not do tall tales lol
@neonmaster777 i make a point to not sink ships it they’re doing Tall Tales. Although if you’ve got a bunch of loot on your boat, I can’t let that slide.
I'll admit, I was easily sunk doing this tall tale during the original release of Season 3, as it was the huge rush to completing the tall tales as soon as possible. Sunken Pearl takes you about 30 minutes to an hour, definitely up to an hour+ your first playthrough, the best way to go about that tall tale is not care about the boat, and most importantly, stop taking out the Eternal Chest of Sorrows from the Tall Tale. Don't give people a reason to pirate you if you're going to do tall tales that technically give you little to no worth by the end of it.
