Time

  • Imo the day/night cycle is too quick , would you please make it slower , like 1/4 of real time ?

  • something like glitterbeard with this change would be an absolute nightmare

I think it's perfect how it is.

The games where the day and night cycle is really drawn out feels too long imo and in this game doing stuff in the dark for long amounts of time would really get old quickly imo

  • @wolfmanbush , imo pirates used to love the darkness of the nights for obvious reasons , don't you agree ?

  • @calico-jack3172 no sailing in the dark kinda sucks, much prefer to sail during the day.

  • I believe day time is 24 min while night is 5?
    (Yeah sounds off)

  • @burnbacon the whole day is 24 minutes, 12 daytime 12 nighttime each minute irl is 1 hour in game

  • @callmebackdraft

Whole day is 24 minutes, but I would say it is closer to 17 minutes of day and 7 minutes of night.

Sunset is 10pm, and sunrise is 5am. That's also when the Shadow Skeletons change form due to the sun going up/down.

  • Leave as is. Night play is less than day play at moment but still long enough to allow players to build it into a plan. E.g, tucking on a fort.

  • I'll just add that this would also require a massive re-work of the some of the voyages, not just Glitterbeard, that rely on date/time

They just said why they disagreed. I’ll add to that by talking about fishing commendations and fish that only spawn at night. Would be a nightmare get those.

Nighttime goes from 10pm to 6 am...so 8 minutes nighttime and 16 daytime

    Isn't the sunrise 6am?

  • I think it’s a nice day/night rotation. It’s beautiful and preferred to sail and fight during the day. And there’s enough time to do stealthy plays at night. I’ll often wait 10-15 minutes for night to descend before I row over to a Fort of Fortune with some kegs. I just chill and cook some meat in the meantime.
The timings work fine for me.

6am is when the shops reset, but I am fairly sure the sun rises at 5am.

  • @archangel-timmy ok...then I just messed up these 2 times...thanks

Good supernatural thriller from the 90s that incorporates this song into the plot. It's called Fallen. Would be a great addition to the Halloween binge list

Has the ever talented cast of Denzel, Goodman, Papa Sutherland, and Gandolfini

  • @wolfmanbush
i'm glad that someone knows his Classics...hihihihi
