I introduced many new players to the Sea of Thieves and helped them learn the basics of the game. I do believe that some stuff must be learnt by yourself because it adds something to the experience, but what I want to talk about today isn't one of these and would be a simple QoL fix fore new players.
One thing that new players I introduced to the game are often confused about is which piece of loot goes to who, it doesn't take too much time to get them used to the regular loot tbh, but a little help doesn't hurt. The real issue tho is with ashen chests, ritual skulls, and reaper chests/bounty. It happen that I see people bringing reaper chests/bounties to outpost or that I find a ritual skull left in front of the OoS or, more often, an empty ashen chest left in front of the gold hoarder.
What I was thinking of is adding a little symbol to either the left or right of the name of the piece of loot that you are looking at based on the companies that buys it. I'm sure SoT's UI designer would make a better and more clear design than whatever I can think of, so I'll them do this part of the jobe if they'd ever decide to go with feature. This is obviously not needed but would help new players figure this stuff out more quickly and, as said, while I do believe that some stuff adds something to the experience if learnt by yourself, making this easier to understand for new players doesn't take anything away from their experience :)
