High Ping after SOT updates.

    For some reason, after updates my ping doesn't settle below 500 and rise to 1100 which makes this game....very unplayable.

    I've only found one person who has had this issue and they said its something to do with Xbox networking and the latency, I live in the UK and i don't think the connection to the Xbox servers should be warranting that high latency so I'm stuck for solutions as the 'Fix this' button does nothing.

    I've taken this to Microsoft and no response so that's why I'm here, I just want to sail with my friends and enjoy the game.

    because I magically disappear and reappear in random locations

    I always have a lot of issues after a update too
    I always get put on a lot of servers outside of my region for a while after an update/patch as well

    @wolfmanbush I'm playing on US west (average 200 ping) with my crew but nowhere in the world should give me 500-1000 ping.
