Friend's DC'd and could never rejoin (Were still in crew)

Pretty much title, but basically myself and 3 friends were sailing a Galleon and everything was going fine until two of them disconnected via a Longbeard error, they were not prompted with an option to rejoin the game, and they tried everything from resetting their router, rebooting PCs, and both myself and the other friend were not able to invite them via in game menu, OR through Xbox Game Bar (we are all on PC by the way) but both of them no matter what they did still showed in our party and had no way to kick or remove them. Thus they could not rejoin however were able to start their own solo sloop adventures. Even that would not remove them from the party. I did NOT dc or get any errors and tried leaving to see what would happen, leaving the final friend #4 alone on the Galleon, they were unable to invite any of us and even I still showed still in the crew, despite not DC'ing or having any errors. Pretty much completely screwed us outta 5 hours of farming. The hell is going on with these servers lately? I've never had this many issues with this game, than I have the last couple of months. Anyone run into this?
