Now, I know that this is a big suggestion, but I think that this could be really cool, and enhance player's experience. I asked all of my friends what they thought, and they really want to play this now.
Now, imagine you are the Pirate Lord, the fiercest pirate in all the seas. You would obviously have an extremely large target on your back. Fast-forward 100-200 years, you're dead, your friends are dead, all that remains of you is your grave, and your tale.
A young pirate named ScarrSkull is looking for the Pirate Lord's remains. One day he finds it, and uses an ancient reanimation ritual to bring his body back to life. Little does he know, the ritual requires a young, hearty soul, filled with life and energy. The ritual takes his soul and stashes it inside the Pirate Lord's body.
Fast-Forward, again, to present time. ScarrSkull has gone insane, his friends, and family don't know him anymore. He has been alone for so long now, the only friends he has, are the undead he now commands. One day, he hopes he will have a fierce battle like none-other! If ScarrSkull should lose, his soul would release from this undead trap. Leaving him in peace.
The player would receive a map, that shows where the Pirate Lord kept some of his treasures. It could bring the player to an underwater stash, where many fortunes lie.
Now this would be more of a tall tale then a boss, but either way, it would be fun, in my opinion.
ScarrSkull would have many abilities, including the power to alter the water in the form he needs, and he would have many Skelly friends to help with his battle.
Now, I know this is farfetched and probably wont happen, but I hope readers enjoy this idea.
