Is anyone else experiencing difficulties with completing the new challenges? I have burned over 30 skeletons (18 with Ashen Winds Skull), but it only counted 6/20 and 0/5. Also, I turned in at least one Chest of Rage and an Ashen Winds Skull, but both didn't count.

@Musicmee this is a common problem i am seeing all over forums/reddit/facebook and i am having the same problem.
Please let us know if there is a work around or if we need to wait for rare to make an update or hot patch to make them work.

delays happen from time to time on these trackers it looks like it's just a delay but still counting
@wolfmanbush ik delays happen. been playin since day 1, just wanted to confirm u were still in game and didnt break and come back and they had counted.
@captain-coel its super delayed and some of it seems to not be counting at all like rage chests or winds skulls turned in
@biggie-tizzle only thing to note there is chests have to go to gold hoarder and skulls have to go to oos. but mine havent counted yet either. same with burning a ship
@captain-coel yup i turned them in there. im having the same issue and neither of my burn skellys is working at all. i did get 1 of 5 for the explode one gp skelly and kill 3 but i didnt do that one so must be a crew thing

I think the entire event system is broken at the moment. I killed a Meg today and didn’t even get the challenge completed for 12 deeds of giving.

Not bugged, but very delayed, it will count, but you won't be able to see it until hours later.
I had the same issue, logged out, then logged in this morning to mess around with cosmetics real quick and was getting challenge complete notifications. Couldnt remember all we did last night so I dont know how accurate it was, but just confirming that you dont have to worry about staying logged in for anyone worried about it.

You are indeed correct. After a lengthy break and logging back in, the challenges were marked properly. Seems to be VERY slow.
But I stand by what I said. The entire event system is having issues.
I sailed early yesterday and things were fine for me then - counted and everything. I completed all of the skeleton challenges and turned in 1 Ashen Winds Skull so far. Still need to get the Chests of Rage though.
I wonder if I should do it now and risk not having it count - which has happened in the past, and have to redo it, or if I should wait to ensure that it does, but then have less time to do it?
